“So, where are you going again?” Alya asked as she shut her locker, facing Marinette. “You’re going to meet someone?”
Marinette nodded
“Who is it?” Alya looked interested. “A secret lover? Your crush? Who!”
Marinette laughed. “Alya, you know I don’t have any of those. I’m going to meet a classmate, that’s all. He said he had something important to tell me.”
“Oh, it’s even a he,” Alya laughed along. “Want me to come along so you, don’t embarrass yourself? You never know, but this boy of yours could be wanting to ask you out.”
Adrien? Ask me out? Puff, he doesn’t seem like the type of guy. “Nah Alya, besides I would just say no like I’ve done with rest of the other boys.”
Alya groaned. “We’ll maybe it time for a change. See, Tiki has got a crush, I have got a secret admirer…”
“Oh Alya, I’ve got dozens of secret admirer, and in the end I still reject them.” Marinette grabbed her backpack. “They’re just… Not my type.”
“So then what is your type?!” Alya rolled her eyes. “Do you need a boy that doesn’t pay attention to you at all, because you’re tired of boys asking you out?”
“I wouldn’t mind,”, Marinette shrugged with a little smile. “Alright, I’ll get going now. Make sure you get Tiki from her class, and you guys can go home together. I’ll meet up later on.”
Alya nodded and waved her off. Marinette started trotting away from her friend, heading outsiders the school.
Marinette got in her car, driving to where Adrien said to meet up. Finally she got there and stepped out after parking. She looked around the restaurant that she had stopped at, but she could tell that Adrien wasn’t here yet.
Finally she stepped inside the restaurant, L’Astrance took a seat, before waiting for Adrien to arrive.
While waiting for Adrien to arrive, Marinette took out her phone to look for any new text messages from anyone. She found a few and answered them, but some she skipped over, including the one Hannah gave her about coming home early. Who was she to tell her to come back home early?!
“Hey, Marinette.”
Marinette put her phone down and looked up. “Adrien, you’re here. At first I was beginning to think that you set me up, but you know, you would never do that.”
Adrien took a seat in front of her a frown. “What do you mean set you up?!
“Well, I mean,” Marinette was a bit confused at the question. “You asked me to come here but you took a while.”
“Marinette, I never asked you to come here,” Adrien looked as confused as her. “In fact, you were the one that asked me here, and I spent a few minutes tying to convince my Father to let me go. You told me you had an important thing to tell me.”
“What?!” Marinette took her phone and turned to her contacts. “Adrien, I wasn’t wrong. You did text me. See? She handed Adrien the phone for him to read the messages.
After a while Adrien handed her phone back to her. “That’s… Thats no me. I think someone must have set us up or something.”
“But why?!” Marinette groaned. Why did some part of her feel disappointed that I hadn’t been Adrien. Whoever dared to set us up, I’m going to get them and make them pay!
“Whew, well this is a bit new to me. I’ve never been in a restaurant before, much less eaten in one,” Adrien looked around. Some girls sitting from distance were pointing at them, squealing as if that’s all they could ever do. “And that is exactly the reason why!”
Marinette was surprised at his words. “You’ve never eaten in a restaurant before?!” She chuckled a bit. “Well, why not take this chance and eat in one then? Here, why don’t we order?…”
“I just feel uncomfortable with the way people are staring at me,” Adrien muttered. “That’s why I prefer to eat at home, or somewhere alone. How… Do you do it?”
"I eat in restaurants with my friends, and ignore all the looks I get,” Marinette replied if it was no big deal.
“Well, I’m not like you,” Adrien chuckled, Turing back to the squealing who had quieted down due to the owner telling them to.
“Then maybe let’s just order and get out here?” Marinette suggested. “I don’t want you to feel uncomfortable.”
Adrien look around the restaurant again, then turned attention back to Marinette. “Never mind, I think I can handle it. Let’s stay for a bit.”
“Great,” Marinette didn’t realize how big her smile was until stared to hurt. She shook her head and looked down, Adrien calling for the waiter to come take their orders.
Marinette didn’t know why, but she shuddered for some unknown reason. While Adrien ordered for the both of them, she looked around. She felt that someone was watching them-well, everyone in the restaurant was looking at them but something just didn’t feel right.
“I wonder who could have us up, though,” Adrien spoke up again, reading her mind as they both waited for their food to come. “I mean just why?!”
“That’s what I wonder as well,” Marinette sighed. She already had an idea on who could have set them up, though she was secretly hoping it wasn’t true. She didn’t want to have to deal with those girls again, after al they annoyed her to the core. But why? That’s what she was mostly wondering about.
“So, when should we work on our art project again?” Adrien asked, deciding to change the subject.
“Well, im kinda busy today, but… Tomorrow would do,” Marinette shrugged as she watched a waiter bringing their order over. “Your place again?”
Adrien nodded. “My place again.”

“Alright Tiki, the bell rang 15 minutes ago. What are you still doing here?” Alya signed as she entered the class. “Are you busy?”
“Oh,” Tiki placed her pencil down. “I was so busy with Nathaniel and Marc that I didn’t heart the bell.” She turned to the boys, telling them she had to go, before she turned back to Alya. “So what are you up to? Where’s Marinette?”
“Marinette is on a date.”
“What?! Really?!”
Alya laughed. “No. She just went to meet up with some unknown boy.”
Tiki packed her stuff in her bag. “So, wanna hang. What do you plan on doing?”
“Um, Tiki, we can’t hang… “Alya shook her head. “I knew you would forget due to a lot of things on your mind. Remember you tutoring with Plagg?”
“Oh my gosh!” Tiki cried out, running out of the class. “The bell rang 15 minutes ago. We agreed to meet right after school. What if he’s been waiting, Alya! Ugh, I can’t believe I’m messing this up.”
“It’s okay. Not your fault,” Alya couldn’t stop laughing. “Now I bet you’re q0 times glad that’s I’m here, or else who remind you?!”
“Yup, I’m so glad.” Tiki pushed the door, stepped out of the school. “I’ll see you later, Alya.” Just sitting on the bench away from them was Plagg on his phone.
He waited for me. Tiki blushed at the thought. He hasn’t left yet. She walked up to him. “I’m so sorry I’m late.”
Plagg looked up from phone. “It’s cool. I got here like 2 minutes age, so I haven’t been waiting long. So, your place or mine?”
“Um, mine,” Tiki squeaked out, her face turning as red as her hair. She looked down not to make eye contact with the boy in front of her.
“Need a ride?” Plagg was walking over to his car. Tiki instantly nodded, remembering how her car was broken down. She followed Plagg to his car and got inside, thanking him.
Just like I thought, Plagg is so sweet. I knew he wasn’t a boy boy like some people said he was. Tiki was looking down at the floor of the contain herself sitting right next to Plagg, but also because Nino was here with them and was sitting in the front.
They first dropping Nino off, before going over to Tiki’s place. Tiki had made sure to prepare before they got there, so she wasn’t worrying about how her house or, her room looked. They got off the car and headed inside after Plagg looked it.
“Nice place, Plagg muttered, stepping inside for the very first time.
Tiki nodded. “T-thanks.”
She led him to her room, already having all textbook out oh her desk to start. “Alright, figured that the subject you’re mostly having problems on is Math, so I decided that we should work on that first.”
Plagg nodded. “Okay.”
“Here,” Tiki handed him textbook. “The questions there are all the questions we had to solve on our test.”
“Am I re-doing the test?”
“Sort of,” Tiki shrugged with a small smile. “You can think of it like that. We’ve already learned all the questions on there. Now, show me exactly what you did on the test so I would know what you did wrong. Once I see your hardest subject in Math, we can start with that.”
Plagg nodded, taking the pen Tiki had handed over to him. He looked at the questions carefully, unlike he did the last time. Then he looked up at Tiki. “Am I allowed to change a few answers from what I did before?”
“Yeah, sure.”
“Okay.” He turned back to the paper, scribbling down. Tiki just just waited silently for him, watching how his face shaped at every questions he came across.
“So, you close with Marinette, huh?” Plagg suddenly asked.
“Un, yeah. We’re best friends with Alya,” Tiki replied.
“For how long now?” Plagg looked up at her, before looking back down.
“Um, well,” Tiki thought about it. “Marinette and Alya met first, then me, but we’ve all been friends ever since we were 7.”
“That’s nice,” Plagg nodded. “So, do… Do you know where Marinette is right now?”
Tiki frowned but shook her head. “Heard she was out with someone.”
“A boy?”
Tiki bit her lip. “Um, yeah, I guess.”
“Oh… Do you know who-“
“Okay, what’s up?! Why all these questions about Marinette?!” Tiki was fed up with the questions. It also make her feel sick on inside as a thought roamed around inside her head.
“Sorry. Want me to tell you? But you have to promise not to tell anyone else,” Plagg looked up at again. Tiki didn’t feel like hearing it, but she slowly nodded anyway. “I… I actually may have a crush on Marinette.”
Tiki gulped. “O-oh… Oh really?” She looked down at the floor. “Nice.”
“Are you… Are you okay? A bit shocking, I know, I just…”
“Why don’t you focus on your work instead of girls?!” Tiki suddenly snapped. She felt a sickening feeling inside the stomach that she did not like on bit. “Maybe if you actually paid attention in class, you wouldn’t be getting such low marks!”
Plagg widened his eyes at her, before he angrily looked back down. “Fine! Why are you suddenly so mad?!”
“Excuse me.” Tiki stoop up and fan out of the room, leaving Plagg to watch her leave with a confused look on his face.

Alya returned back home from a quick shopping, going up to her room immediately. She remembered how her mother told her that she wouldn’t be home with the twins, and Nora was probably still at school, so now she was home alone.
After taking some snacks up to her room and feasting on them, Alya got out her phone to play a few games on it. But before could even tap on an app, she got a notification telling her she got a new message
Is it from Marinette? Tiki? She frowned and clicked on the message, seeing it was from unknown. What’s up all these unknown text!
