In Pas de Deux,  not only did Elena and her horse Flyer have to match the rhythm of each other, they had to match the rhythm of both the music and another horse and rider. Elena’s girlfriend Maya and her horse Rayla were their partners for the Pas de Deux. The Pas de Deux, which translated from French means dance for two, was always a duet. Two horse and rider pairs had to be in harmony and in rhythm and follow the choreography precisely.
