The Greek and Norse Gods plan for war. Aries and Sol meet with one another one day before the war in a location safe from from baring eyes, Sol arrived hoping they could runaway together.
(Sol and Aries continue to argue in a abandoned cabin.)
Sol pleads and hugs Aries, “You don’t have to this Aries. You can come with us and we can raise our family together, you could die if you do this.”
Aries comforts her, “I must Sol, I have to. It’s the only way for us to be happy. If I don’t fight this war we will lose and all hope is lost for us and the twins. Besides since Athena is pregnant by your brother Thor she can no longer fight. I’m the only one who can wield the Kimberly Blade."
“What if you don’t come back, what will I do if yo—We won’t survive without you.”
“You and the kids seek out Gaia and she will give you passage to Earth, there you will raise our children.”
“You didn’t meet me out here to runaway, did you? You never planned on leaving. You want us to leave."
—Someone knocks on the cabin door—
Sol surprised, “You want us to leave now don’t you?”
Aries doesn’t reply as he answers the door.
It’s Athena and Thor. Sol gets angry.
Aries turns to her, “Sol, calm down.”
Sol in tears, “Don’t tell me to calm down! Thor especially, come this time tomorrow you two could both be dead and leave Athena and I all alone.”
Athena comfort her, “Sol listen they must do what they have to, as the gods of war this is what they do. We must go now. They have both vowed not to kill each other in this war.”
As Sol and Athena gather there things and say their goodbyes. They venture to meet with Gaia leaving Thor and Aries. Without a word they go their separate ways knowing that the vow meant nothing to them and they will fight tomorrow.
(One day later)
The Greeks and Norse Gods stand across from each other on the battle field. Odin and Zeus both stand the ready.
Odin yells to his fellow Norse Gods. “This war will be known as ‘Ragnorak’. This is it! Only one kingdom will be standing after today!”
—Both sides begin to rage—
Zeus calls to the Greeks to prepare themselves as lightning strikes the battlefield and the trumpets sound off. The war has begun and the smell of god blood has already tainted the air.
Meanwhile, back at Valhalla Hela has took Loki to the underworld and awaits Hades return. On the battlefield Hercules and Ares fight against Baldr and Thor, While Odin faces off against Zeus and Hades. Hermes faced Vamir, Unfortunately, Hermes stood no chance and is quickly killed. The battlefield was silenced when they noticed hermes death.
He was so loved by all the gods, Greeks and Norse. When the silence broke it was an enraged Poseidon who throws a trident across the battlefield killing Vamir. Blood everywhere each side sees that they are evenly matched. The realities of war set in as Hercules and Baldr fight. For 3 days their battle continued until they both passed out from exhaustion.
Zeus, Hades and Poseidon had finally got the upper hand on Odin. When Thor sees this, he tries to help but his hands are full with Aries. Odin is losing and things are looking bad for him, His sons Vali and Tyr both show up to help. Hades fights Vali and Poseidon fights Tyr. Hades surprises everyone when he calls upon Death and Cerberus to help him.
Overwhelmed by his power he successfully kills Vali and proceeds to aid Zeus. Odin enters into the Odin force and Zeus has entered into his Olympus awakening. They both battle at their strongest. The clashing of their power shakes the battlefield as Ares and Thor both look in amazement at their fathers.
To keep from being caught in the crossfire, Hades withdraws and stands back to rethink his plan after seeing how powerful they truly are. A battle to see who truly is the ‘God of Gods’. Every punch is strong enough to shake the fabric of universe. The entire battlefield pauses to observe, this incredible display of Greek and Norse power.
Hades cleverly notices Thor standing entrapped in the battle, and attempts to catch him off guard and kill him.
Thor unsuspecting, is caught off guard when he notices Hades attack.
Aries quickly defends Thor. Holding hades off. “What are you doing!”
Hades replies “He is the the enemy, he must die.”
“Not like this Uncle, not like this. Think about Athena! Think about what happened to you! He has a kid, don’t you want him to see that kid grow up! Think about how that would hurt you!”
“Aries get out of my way! They all must pay! Even you!”
Hades gains the advantage and wraps his chains around Ares which he uses to slam Aries into the ground sending him to the deepest parts of the underworld. Thor in a rage calls upon “Mjollnir” with rage in Thor and hades eyes the battle between Hades and Thor begins.
