When Jack woke up, he could hear voices downstairs " I guess mater and pater is home." Jack could feel something warm around his waist, so he looked down to see Liam with his arms wrapped around his waist. Jack blushed as he gently shook Liam's shoulder to try and wake him up slowly Liam began opening his eyes "Good morning. How did you sleep?" "Uhm good, but could you maybe move your arms?" Liam looked down and blushed as he quickly sat up "Uh sorry about that" Now that Jack was free, he could fully sit up next to Liam " My uh mom and dad are home. So, we should probably go downstairs." "Oh sure. But we should probably put some clothes on first."

Jack and Liam both went downstairs to find Jacks mom and dad in the kitchen "Hey dad are you finally done with your work?" Leonard turned to face his son "Yeah for now at least. Hey, Jack who is that behind you?" Jack turned to the side so his mom and dad better could see Liam "Mom, dad this is Liam the boy I took home yesterday." Madalena was going to move closer to Liam she was happy that her son made a friend, but her husband put a hand on his shoulder "Liam do you have any pets?" Liam looked at Leonard "um no, the last pet I had was a goldfish, but it died a long time ago."

Leonard's eyes narrowed as he kept watch of every move Liam made "Then tell me why do you smell so strongly of dog? if you don't have a dog as a pet there should be no reason for you to still smell like dog."

Jack’s eyes widened as he realised what his dad was implying " ugh I'm an idiot your last name is Lupus it literally means werewolf how could I not see that?" "I'm sorry but you are one to talk your last name is Striga and that means vampire in Latin." Leonard put his hand on his son's shoulder to make him take a step back "How many are there of you? and are you the reason that there have been so many security breaches lately?"

" I will try to explain everything so just listen to me. It's only me and one other we were trying to catch a rogue that was on our territory but..." "But what? Why are you still here?"

Liam had crumpled to the floor and there was now a set of white wolf ears on his head and a wolf tail tucked close to his body "But when we were about to leave I... I could smell my mate." Liam's ears laid flat on his head and tears were falling down his cheeks "I'm sorry for coming here, I just wanted a chance to find my mate. But I will leave now you don't have to worry about me anymore." Liam got up from the floor and began walking to the door " Wait, Liam, I have to know are you the white wolf from the forest and what about the wolf that saved me from that big black wolf was that you too?" Liam stopped but he did not turn around to look at Jack "Yes that was me you saved me, and I felt that it would only be right if I did the same."

Jack saw Liam walk out the door and turned to his dad " Are we going to have to move again?" Madalena hugged her son and made them sit on the floor "Oh, I'm so sorry sweetie, just when you were getting used to living here." Leonard put his hand on Jack's shoulder "You know we can't trust a werewolf's words there could be more out there and if they start working with the humans, we won't be safe here anymore." "I'm so tired of moving all the time why can't we just try and get along with the werewolves? would it really hurt us to just try and understand our differences and just get along?" Madalena looked at her son and sighed "Life would be a lot easier if it was like that but I don't really think it will be so easy." Jack hugged his mom and hoped that maybe they would find another way so that they could stay and not have to move again.
