The new sounds made her feel uncomfortable as if she wasn’t the only person in those woods. When she turns the torch on a shadow of person flashes behind the tent. She started the walk back to her car. Laila was more watchful than before, even being started by the rustling of a bush. The wind blew twigs and leaves everywhere. Her heartbeat was rapid and her breathing was heavy even though she wasn’t running. She felt as if she was passing the same trees over and over again.
