The cold breeze hits Ann cheeks in this urban jungle tinted in the crimson of the clouds in the morning, you can barely see the shy semblance of the sky, it’s small but it’s there. Ann is making the same route she did yesterday, the path that cuts the field where the kid and the cat were, now though, it looks different, everything seems out of place, disconnected, odd, agitated.
Ann, despite her night escapade, is not feeling sleepy at all, if anything she is feeling the weight of a night of sleep missing in her life, which is to say her eyes are dry, she sweats, if she was wearing a backpack it would weight bricks. Thankfully she is going to a “pseudo-class” where nothing is going to happen and she does not NEED a backpack. It’s, like, the second day of school. Maria, despite her insufferable attitude, waaaas kinda right.
“Omg man the bathroom, will they know it was me? There could be no way right? There was no one around and everybody knows the cameras are a bluff.”
She stops, looks at her feet.
“maybe I should just go somewhere else, kill class.”
She looks up, serious face.
“maybe it just doesn’t matter, I can’t disappear, this will not go away. I may just go anyway.”
She restart her move uphill like if she was an elder getting up of the chair, she struggles a LOT. Honestly more than what she should, even considering her deplorable physique, but she keeps going.

Ann is walking up the stairs toward her class, the same from yesterday, bags under her eyes, looking like the only paranormal creature here, she decides to stop, mid-floors, to look out the window that shows the bathroom. She is looking down from above at all of the people gathered, the police tapes, some teachers are there and Ciir. She squints her eyes.
“what I wouldn’t give to know what he is thinking, would he know someone tried to screw his plans.”
From her position, leaning towards the window, she rotates back, her elbows now on the window and her stare at the ceiling, looking only at the souls of birds and what could be airplanes.
“IF he had any plan to begin with.”
She puts her hand on her face and stays like that for a couple of seconds. The hand, although blocking her vision, does not block the souls, the same as the walls.
“at least if he HAD a plan it didn’t work, if he had not it was collateral damage I guess…..”

““Class”” goes by, nothing academic happens. Ann simply stares and jot down ideas about Ciir being a vampire, a demon, a robot or… what is this?? An alien??
Hahahaha fat chance. I was not giving sarcastic comments out of respect for the, unhealthy, lack of sleep of Ann, but look at these drawings? They are shit, sorry.
Anyway
Ciir does not look at Ann. Like the academic counterpart of this classroom adventure, these two shenanigans also had nothing happening.
The alarm rings, the morning period is over.
Ciir: Hi Ann
Shit! This guy is still partially invisible for her, she was startled
Ciir: shit,
whats the matter? You okay?
Ann: yeah, I’m fine
Ann: And you?
Ciir: I’m okay, did you sleep tonight?
Ann: yeah…. Kinda…..
Ann: My brother was making too much noise…
Ciir: Okay
Ciir: shit sucks
Ciir: Want to go get something to eat?
Ann: I’m in.
