ZELLA’S POV :
Grey said, “We have reached… World Zero. Let’s talk about Oblivion later. Only a few people are supposed to know about that place.”
The white room began to disintegrate. Soon, the white walls vanished and Grey and I stood at a circular plate. The place was bustling with people and there were seven other circular plates just like the one I was standing on. The ceiling was domed and the air felt stuffy.
A plump, elderly lady with a kind smile approached us.
“Grey! You’re back.” She said smiling and then looked towards me.
“Oh, you must be the variable from World Seven, right my dear?”
“Ah, yes. That’s me,” I replied.
“Nice to meet you, I am Raina Rei.” Said the elderly lady holding out her hand.
“The pleasure is all mine. I’m Zella-” I said shaking her hand.
GASP.
“Z-Zella?” Grey stuttered.
“Yes, what’s wrong?” I asked.
“You’re really… Zella?” Grey asked, in disbelief.
“Yes, I am. Do you know me- wait… is it just me or is everything spinning?”
GASP.
Both the lady and Grey gasped at the same time. Their eyes were wide.
Was something wrong?
Yes.
Something was terribly wrong.
“What’s going on?” I asked.
Without uttering a word Mrs Rei started chanting something and I could see black bricks forming a wall around us. She was trying to hide something. With magic.
But what was she trying to hide?
Grey on the other hand fell on his knees.
The walls now loomed over us covering us from everyone’s view.
“What’s going on?” I asked again, worried.
Grey without uttering a word handed me a mirror that he had produced out of thin air.
Looking into the mirror, I couldn’t believe my eyes.
What the hell… was going on?
