You know the end is near when a Downtown LA Starbucks is 1) empty in the middle of a weekday and 2) playing "The Sound of Silence" over the PA. It truly sent shivers down my spine. That day was very scary for a multitude of reasons, but this was the beginning of the Covid weirdness for me.⠀
