Weeks have gone by and we have read every book that talked about or mentioned this world that overlaps the rest. We read them a million times, each time reading each page slowly hoping that maybe we had missed something the time before, or that something useful might jump out at us. But no matter how many times we go over each book, or trade books we never see anything useful. There was not one instance in which this world has even gotten close to being beaten. There has to be one world connected with it that has come close to victory. We would go into the library day after day searching every book we could find that had anything even remotely connected to the world known as The Dark World. We found twenty more books. We hoped that one of these would shine some light on the situation, before heading to the study we searched the last two shelves in hopes of finding even one more book that could help us, and we did. Ten more books along with the twenty we found. Out of these thirty books we hoped at least one would give us hope.

Hope is all that we need, no matter how small an achievement. If it could be done once then it can happen again. The most my people can do is try, but there is one difference between my world and the others. My world has the elements too. “Guys! I just had an idea.” I said. They all looked at me not saying anything, just waiting for me to continue. “Both of the world's have the elements. They use theirs to do bad and we use ours to do good. What if we trapped them and then used spirit users to cleanse them in a way. If we heal the broken spirits of these people they may change.”

“That's a great idea sis, the only problem is the strongest spirit users are the ones who can also control the other four. Do you know anyone who can wield all five?” Antonio said. I looked down at the floor and knew it was time to share my secret.

“I can wield all five.” I said only loud enough that they could hear me.

“So can I.” My brother revealed.

“As can I.” Niklaus and Mae said together.

“Maybe your plan could work. If we could get air users to block anyone not from our country in and then we can work on healing their souls, if it can be done.” Antonio stated. “Let's make some sort of plan.” After thinking of different ways to trap these people we finally moved on to a happier subject. Our weddings, and many other random things. It was too troubling to keep talking about such a subject, especially if the issue isn't these peoples souls being broken in some way.

The next day Niklaus and Mae's parents came to us and shared what they have learned. My real parents were found dead, but the imposters have everyone believing that they are the imposters. There has been no word of my brother or me missing from home. They think there might be two people impersonating my brother and I. The only bad news they had aside from our parents being dead, that is, is that they haven't heard of a way to beat them. So we told them both our idea and secret. 

“That just might work.” Their Father said. “It really could. If thats what the issue is. We need to learn more about them.”

“It might be too risky. But it does sound as if it might work.” Their Mother agreed. I explained the plan in greater detail. Explaining how each element could trap our enemy without hurting them if the user had enough control over the element in use, but that it would have to be small groups if there were more than the two they knew of and the suspected two. But also that even with the four of them two at a time may be safer, because we don't know how much power it will take to heal a soul let alone two or more. 

“We need to find out if there are two of them impersonating my brother and I.” I said. “If there is, they should be done first. I think it would be smart to take them out first.”

“That does seem like a good plan, but it would be better to get them all at once. It may take a while but if we have enough people they could hold them for a while.” Niklaus said. 

While all this sounded good, part of me still wasn't sure if this Dark World is the way it is because their souls are broken or corrupted in some way, or if these people are just plain evil. Either way I think there is something we can do with Spirit to get them out of our world, and maybe even reverse what has been done to our people.

“If we try too much at once we could hurt ourselves and that would hurt our chances of success.” I argued back. “But you are right. It would be smart to do them all at the same time. I'm just worried that it could hurt us badly if it's too much to handle.” 

 “I know, but I think it's a chance we are going to have to take.” Niklaus said, pulling me into his arms and kissed my forehead.

“I'm gonna have to agree with Niklaus. It may be dangerous, but we have to try.” Antonio said.

“So how are we going to go about trapping them? Recent news says that no one leaves the house. For all we know there could be more in the house now. For all we know the house could be packed full of them by now, it's been months.” Mae asked.

“It's going to be difficult, but we could use the elements to lock them in the house, and see if we see if we can find the damaged souls, and start healing each one slowly as we find them.” I said.

“It does sound risky doing it that way, but I think that will work. We just need to make sure that we don't drain ourselves.” Mae said. “It's dangerous if that happens.”

“I know how dangerous it can be, but if you practice every day Then your power lasts longer, you have a larger energy pool.” I said. Mae nodded.

“Yea I know, my brother and I practice every day. To strengthen the elements but to expand how much energy we can use with each practice.” Mae said.

“Let's go out and see where everyone is on power level.” Niklaus suggested.

“OK sounds good.” Antonio said. We headed outside and deep into the woods behind the house. Niklaus and Mae led me and my brother to a clearing. “This is where practice every day.” Mae said. 

“This is better than my spot.” I said. We spent the next three hours testing how far we can push our powers. Turns out when working together we were more powerful, our powers seemed to combine and become stronger. We used spirit last, every tree and all the grass became greener and more lush within only a few seconds.

“I think it's safe to say we are stronger together. Our power seems magnified by ten, when we use them together.” I said. “As long as we use it together at the same time it should work just fine.”
