A small pale blonde boy ran to catch up to the archangel, the five-year-old filled with significant curiosity as they continued to walk towards a large pale-stoned building "Brother?" the archangel looked down at the boy, smiling warmly at his little 'brother' "What's that?" the boy asked, pointing at the building in front of them. "That my dear starlight, is the Light Temple" the older angel answered, holding back a laugh as the tiny angel stared up at the temple in absolute awe "The one in the stories?" "Exactly" the archangel smiled, confirming the five-year-old's assumption. The two walked closer to the temple, making their way to its entrance where a white marbled stone stink like object stood by the opened door and within its sink was a crystal glass bowl which held holy water within it. The archangel dipped a finger into the water and tapped the finger from his forehead to his heart before turning to the smaller angel, lifting him up a bit so he too could do the same. The older angel setted the younger back on the ground before motioning the tiny angel to follow him into the temple. They soon reached the end of the small corridor leading into the hall-like chapel. The small boy somewhat hid behind the archangel as they walked through the large chapel "Brother, why are they staring?" the boy asked quietly as the archangel noticed the sisters of the temple looking at them in awe. The older angel just smiled a bit and held the boy's hand as they walked into a new corridor with its walls lined with murals, pictures and engravings of different events throughout Heaven history. The little angel looked up at one engraved picture on the wall of a female angel that was depicted to seem brighter than pure light "...Michael" the boy mumbled as he continued to stare at the picture... he felt like he knew the woman depicted, as if he had seen her before.
"Yes Gamer?" Michael answered, joining the small angel's side "Who is she?" Gamer asked, unable to lift his own eyes off the picture "That my dear little brother... is the Heavenly Light Spirit of Heaven" Michael answered, kneeling down to Gamer's height "The very woman from the stories I told you". Gamer turned his head to Michael "Do you know her?" the boy asked as Michael laughed quietly "Of course I do, I was there when she was created" Michael told Gamer, looking up the picture before them "She's still alive... right?" the boy questioned the older angel "Of course she is... like a phoenix, the Light dies and is reborn" the archangel answered. "But it's because of her that you are with me right now" Gamer turned back to the older angel "Really?" "Yes" Michael dug into his pocket and pulled out a gold chained bracelet that had a small golden sun charm "This use to be the last Light Spirit's bracelet... I promised her I'd keep it safe just like I kept you safe" Michael smiled at Gamer as the small angel smiled back. "But since I can't return it to her in person, I prayed by her ancestor's alter..." Michael looked at the ground "She soon answered, and told me what to do..." Michael gently took Gamer's hand in his own and put the bracelet on the small angel's wrist "She wants you to have it" Michael painfully smiled before giving Gamer a hug. Tears stung the archangel's eyes as he smiled a bit whilst the tiny angel hugged him back "Live forever my little starlight..." Michael begged...

I tried to ignore the memory as Lytrse walked over to me... I was at the palace again for the day only because Lytrse wanted to start teaching me a little history of her family- oh yeah, Lytrse is princess Euanthe Thorn's mother, the one who was queen before Aristomache. "We alright, Gamer?" Lytrse asked as she looked down at me "Yeah, just curiosity building up" I lied, smiling at the former queen "So what history lesson is it today?" I asked, Lytrse gave me a smile before starting to walk, motioning me to follow her "I want to learn more about you, Gamer" she said. I raised a brow "Why? most of my childhood- my life was boring and painful" I told her "Every person must live through some kind of torture within their lives, even the first children of Satan when they were born" Lytrse told me as we started up a flight of stairs "Rumours say that Shalissa Flare was de-throned and killed because she betrayed her father, but actual records say that her father despised the human she had a child with and he de-throned her so she didn't have the power to tell others this was possible" Lytrse explained. "He placed Lilith Eclipse on the throne and named her the first queen as she was the most wise, logical and oldest of all the children, that was a day before she created the 'High Guar' eclipse" Lytrse then turned to Gamer "Let's test your knowledge, what's the 'High Guar' eclipse?" Lytrse asked. "When the new royal children are all at least fourteen, the eclipse is forced so Hell's sun is just covered enough to create a crown-like glow, the sky turns dark red..." I took a second to think "Pentagrams appear under the seven children's feet, who stays in the pentagram the longest is the new ruler of Hell" I finished. Lytrse seemed a little impressed "Who told you that story?" "An archangel who actually cared" I answered, thinking of said angel. Archangel Amenadiel, he overheard once of me asking Michael about the Hell Family ceremony and... Michael snapping at me to the point I was in tears then Amenadiel found me and told me all about it, everything he saw first-hand.
I smiled a bit at the memory "Good memory?" Lytrse questioned, I nodded my head a bit "People down here envy you, Gamer" she told me as we now made it to the second floor. I looked at her confused "What do you mean?" "You're filled with such unbelievable light and hope" she said with a gentle smile "People even think you'll go back up to Heaven any second" she stated as I signed "Because I'm 'pure'" I said, rolling my eyes and folding my arms, Lytrse noticing my slight actions. "Tell me Gamer, if given the chance to... would you go back?" she asked... for a second, I hesitated. There are some things I miss like walking around the abandoned town I've grown to love and being at the Light Temple... but there is too much I really wouldn't miss. "No" I finally answered "Not even if they pray or all of Heaven begged on their knees... I would never go back to that Hell hole" I told her... she bent down to my eye level "Then I hope you stay as well" Lytrse smiled "And hopefully Hell can be your new 'heaven' and more of a home then Heaven will ever be".
(Death's Pov)
I walked through the door of the witchdoctor shop, seeing Akire's cousin adjusting a couple of jars of herbs behind the front desk "Hey Umber, Akire in today?" I asked "She's out the back working on orders" Umber answered before answering the shop phone whilst I headed around the back of the shop. "Akire" I said as I walked into the room, seeing the witchdoctor pour a purple liquid into a small bottle "Yes Death?" she answered, putting the lid on the bottle "You finished the bear yet?" I asked "Oh yeah, just give me a sec" Akire rushed off upstairs "Don't touch anything!" she yelled out from the floor above. I rolled my eyes, looking around the room whilst I walked over to the table Akire had been working at, a minute later, Akire ran back down stairs with a plastic bag, over to the table and placed it down before carefully taking a teddy bear out, holding it as if it were an actual child. I held back a smile as Akire turned to me "I'm guessing you were able to do what I asked?" "Yep, took a while but I figured it out in the end... his name was Leon, right?" Akire asked as I bit my tongue "Yeah... like a little brother with a heart of absolute gold" I told her as Akire gently placed the bear back into the bag and handed it to me. I grabbed the bag before turning my attention to the bottle filled with purple liquid "So what is that suppose to do?" I asked Akire who turned her head to the bottle "Relennam, high strength pain relief for an emrone demon" she answered as I raised a brow, not exactly believing her that much until she continued talking. "Wife of an overlord who's dangerously pregnant, chances to the kid or mother not making it through the full pregnancy" Akire explained as my brows frowned a bit "Can't you do anything?" "Yeah but..." Akire flicked through her hexbook, stopping on a specific page "This is Refliletine". "Can you make it?" "Of course I can, the ingredients however are hard to find" Akire explained and looking at the list myself, I completely agree with her.
"I might be able to find most of these and possibly replacement ingredients for what I can't find" Akire stated, grabbing a small notebook and pen "But the last thing on the list-" "Yeah, I see it" I told her, hearing her sign in response... okay, I can't help it. If it's helping a kid who has no sin whatsoever... they deserve a chance at life, even if it's in this shit hole. "Listen, next week on Monday, both me and angel are on all-day guard shifts and all the royals will be busy" I started, gaining Akire's attention "The royals trust Gamer enough for him to wonder the palace but a ripper overlord family will be there too and that makes me a little nervous about that idea" I continued. "I'd leave him at the casino and help the others work yet I don't want any repeats of-" "Some random trying to 'have his way' with the fallen, and if that happened you'd blame yourself for not being there to protect your friend" Akire finished. "Yeah, so.... how about Gamer spends the day with you getting the ingredients you need... he might even help you with the last one" I suggested "Death, like hell he'd trust me enough to spend the entire day with me" Akire stated, folding her arms "You'd be surprised" I smirked before walking off "Death-" "Thanks for favour" I said before walking out of the room and soon out of the shop.
