A sketch of Robin in a reading pose that I find myself in a lot which is: arm on head.
First off, sorry to everyone for the small hiatus in December. Truthfully, I wasn't very happy with the last few pages I uploaded and was scared of continuing on in an art direction that I knew I wouldn't be happy with, so I decided to take a step back for a little bit. It was a nice break! I read some, visited family, had a birthday, and played a lot of video games. I recently started working on the next pages and after some frustrating moments I have some panel layouts that I'm really happy with and feel much more like me. (I'm also working on a new cover for AG and I'm very excited to share it when it's finished!)
I would love to go forward promising more and regular updates, but I'm also scared of eventually hating something that's near and dear to me by pressuring myself to adhere to a schedule when I don't think I'm quite ready for that. So, updates will come as they come for now.
I also noticed that there's a lot more people here than before?? Thank you!! To all the kind messages, likes, and to even the people who just look, I really appreciate you.
I hope everyone had a lovely December, with whatever you decided to do during that month, and Happy New Year! This is to myself and to whomever needs to hear it: please make something you love this time around, please cherish it and let yourself be happy in this beautiful new year.
if you make something out of love and at your own pace it makes for a feeling far more fulfilling as well as art far more enjoyable to the audience. glad you take time for yourself and looking forward to what you cook up whenever u do! o9
