"listen, his ship was in the way. it's not my bloody fault he didn't listen to my warning." Erick said as he tried to ignore Claylands rancid breath in his face.
"Seriously though have you ever heard of hygiene? It's this new amazing thing that will do wonders for your hair and those rotting teeth of yours." Erick said as he watched Caylands anger rise "Or whatever dying inside you."
"listen hear you little maggot!" Clayland growled as he shoved Erick against the bar.
"Pretty sure the maggots in your stomach, like seriously what have you been eating?" Erick said as He watched Westley swiftly approach them.
Erick smiled over at him as he reached them. Westley gave him a quick look that said 'what the hell have you done now.'
"Excuse me Clayland, I don't know what's going on, but I'm going to have to ask you to kindly release my Captain," Westley said lying through his teeth.
"That fishing boat provided my ship with our food supply. Now that the boats destroyed Gunther here has no way to provide that shipment for my crew. someone has to pay and from what Gunther's told me your Captian here is the person to blame." Clayland scoffed as he calmed a bit and eased off of Erick.
"That's not our bloody fault that Gunther can't properly dock his boat," Erick said as Gunther lunged at him.
"YOU YELLOW-BELLIED WHORE OF A SIREN! YOU'RE THE ONE WHO RAN YOUR RUN-DOWN HUNK OF DRIFTWOOD OVER MY BOAT!" Gunther shouted in rage as Clayland just barely hold him back from attacking Erick.
"How dare you! The Sea's Treasure is one of the finest vessels to ever sail the seven seas! Not like you would know since all you ever do is sit in a little wooden crate and collect fish from the same harbor every day." Erick said rolling his eyes only making Gunther's anger rise.
"Then I guess you won't have any trouble finding Gunther a new boat, since you obviously know how to pick good ones," Clayland said as Erick turned his attention back to him.
"Everything I pick is the best," Erick said smugly as Clayland glanced over at Westley.
Erick felt anger bubble in his stomach, if Clayland so much layed a dirty finger nail one Westley he would hang him from the gallows at the queens court for all to see. It wasn't so much the way Clayland looked at Westley more the fact that Erick was the possesive kind. he picked the best and thefore he would keep the best. he had chosen it before everyone else so his logic was that he should be the one to keep it. and he would never give a loyal and caring crew member to a sleaze like Clayland.
"I'll make a deal with you Ashrock. Three months to get enough money to pay for a new and better boat for Gunther here. If not I get to gut you like the cowardly fish you are hiding behind that drunken facade and run-down ship." Clayland said as Erick rolled his eyes.
Clayland had always thought he knew his opponent. He always made it a point to use their secrets to make them do things for them. Clayland had nothing on Erick and that's what made him his perfect rival, they used to have legendary battles that small children on the islands could tell each other for days. However after a year, Erick got bored of it, he took up drinking and exploring. He left the plundering and fights of pirates behind and changes. Clayland never let him forget that he had failed at being a pirate. He didn't think he had failed, if anything he just grew out of it in a way. Everyone else thought he was a failure though, the worst pirate on the seven seas.
"as if I would ever make a deal with you, you backstabbing, greasy, sleazy..." Erick trailed off as Westley quickly covered his mouth.
"Is a hundred doubloons good enough?" Westley said as Erick tried to release himself from Claylands grip and stop Westley from accepting the deal.
"Three hundred would be better you could get a nice bit o ship for that price and still have it look like the trash you had," Erick muttered as he shoved Westley's hand away from his mouth.
"Perfect, Three hundred it is. you have three months. See you two then. I'll be checking up on you from time to time." Clayland laughed as he shoved Erick into Westley and left with Gunther.
"Where the bloody hell are we supposed to find three hundred doubloons. in all our plundering day's we've never seen that much." Erick said as he grabbed another bottle of rum and quickly downed the bottle.
"Maybe if you kept your drunken mouth shut we wouldn't have had to find Three hundred doubloons." Westley sighed as he grabbed his own drink.
"let's get back to the ship and get this damn deal over with. he didn't even follow the code while enacting it. stupid bastard of a wench." Erick murmered as he grabbed a case of rum and startted to make his way out of the bar and back to the sea's treasure.
"Remember captain, it's just another adventure." Westley said his voice full of bitterness as Erick quickly downed another bottle letting the buzz of the alcohol fill his veins and his head.
Captain Erick Ashrock is probably the world's worst pirate, drunk all the time and stuck on a run-down ship called the Sea's Treasure with no crew and only his first mate Westley Warner. As Westley begins to get fed up with Erick's antics, Erick realizes his feelings for his first mate. Now it's up to Erick to fix his mess and find a way to make his relationship with Westley set sail or sink into Davy Jones' locker.
