Weak

Curled up into a ball

No thoughts on my mind

Ignoring the pain from my body

It screams for me to uncurl myself

But I ignore it 

I'm finally feeling safe

I'm not gonna let pain ruin that

I'll ignore it as long as I can

But I'd like to cherish this feeling

This feeling that I haven't felt in so long

It's freeing

I love it

I miss it

It's gone

I uncurl myself

My body sighs in relief 

My mind screams at me

Vulnerable

Scared

Weak

Afraid

Unable to keep these thoughts away

I'm not safe in my own mind

I need an escape
