When did the switch flip?
The way you feel about me.
The honey dripping from your lip
Is artificial, just how you treat me.

What did I do to change your heart?
Have you always felt like this?
You did not act like this at the start.
Is this now just how it is?

Or, is there more you refuse to tell?
Is it really my fault you don't feel the same?
The way I love you, how I fell.
My emotions, I'm not able to tame.

So, the switch is your heart like the flip is your love.
Must I move on since your feelings aren't there?
I'll pass through life like the clouds up above.
Moving on, but doing so whilst feeling bare.
