Two opposing groups faced off in a battle over territory, in all actuality it really was a pointless battle, but at the same time it wasn't the Dragons already owned the territory, but the Wolves wanted to expand their territory to include this spot. For what you may ask a cafe, it was all over for a cafe. It's unknown why the Wolves felt they needed to own the territory to visit the cafe, the Dragons of this territory didn't mind others coming and enjoying the cafes, restaurants and malls, as long as they made themselves known to someone from the Dragons. 

    This specific group of Dragons and Wolves were the young adults of each group, the rules for these territory batters were simple, no weapons. That was it, any weapons used immediately meant that even if the group that won, they wouldn't get the territory because they had used a weapon. The reason for the no weapon rule is simple. It's because the new group needs to prove that they can defend the territory with their own power and not the power a weapon can give them, and everyone knew that if it was a battle between two groups where one was stronger than the other, as long as the weaker group could last for an two hours then the win was theirs.

    There were many types, Dragons, Wolves, Big Cats, then there's Dogs, Small Cats, roadents, and all kinds of animals. Dragons are the strongest of the bunch but even Roadents could win a territory battle if they could last two hours without all being knocked out, as long as one person was still standing the win would go to them, and that is because it shows that they will fight as hard as they need to to protect the territory, the fights are also always done in human form. There's not always good people in each group. Some of those come into another's territory to do harm to the people in the territory.

That is not what happened with this battle, someone brought a weapon. The only thing the Dragons didn't know is If it was the Wolves or an outsider. The wolves had already been well on their way to gaining the territory, they had already lasted an hour and a half, and then the sound of a gun firing and one of the Dragons falling happened. The Wolves of course ceded the territory and insisted it wasn't them who had a gun. With the battle now over the Dragons quickly took their fallen comrade to the hospital.
