If anyone wanted to read her notes, here they are not tiny:
“The methods and application of instantaneous magic” -outdated garbage. Don’t know what I expected from something I found lying around in this place, of course. It opens with a ten page dedication singing the praises of “our glorious monarch Crystalline”
“Her majesty’s eternal leadership is what has allowed our country to flourish so, and given our land it’s distinct glimmering geometric appearance” ha
“Crystalline is a deity of unique and overwhelming stature and power-” ha
“-And she holds the infrastructure of the whole country on her back. Without her eternal guidance, all of the modern wonders that showcase our superiority would crumble to nothing.” HA
Besides the outdated propaganda it’s mostly just explaining the absolute basics in ten times as many words as it needs. That part isn't even funny, just too boring for me to get through more than a couple chapters.
The good thing is I can leave this piece of garbage behind and never look at it again.
15 years ago the cruel deity that had ruled over Crystalline for centuries was murdered, revealing how shockingly little she mattered. Unfortunately, the bickering and spiteful struggles of those really in charge barely felt a ripple. After a wrench is thrown in her noble families’ schemes, a young mage named Pyxis runs away from home, angry about all sorts of things that aren’t actually her problem. Once she makes three friends who all independently think fixing the world’s flaws is their responsibility alone, she ends up on a stumbling adventure across Crystalline’s starry landscape.
Cat’s Eye Nebula is a lighthearted fantasy story about magic cats going on an adventure through a large and complicated world.
