"I want a divorce!"

"Are you crazy?" Mum was shocked. "It is pretty common for men to have affairs. As long as you have the financial control in the family, everything else doesn't matter!"

"I don't want to spent the rest of my life like you and dad!" I shouted.

"What's wrong with that? He didn't leave me until the end of his life!" Mum seems proud of this.

"I don't see the point of having a marriage like that. Dad hated you even at his last breath. I wasn't expecting love or anything. I just want a stable family!"

"Do you have any money? You have been a housewife for 8 years. Can you support yourself after divorce?" Mum smirked.

"I will divorce him definitely, but I am getting my money back!" I decided.

Kelvin confessed the whole thing to me. He blamed the first time to alcohol, then they found out they are soulmate. In conclusion, they have been cheating on me for almost two years and they even spent a lot of quality times in our house. I felt so sick and did not want to spend one more minute in this house.

'We have two properties both with mortgage, two cars and around 200k deposit. You can have the SUV and this house and those disgusting bed sheets. I will take the condo in the city and my car.

"Mia... We don't have to....." His eyes are getting red.

"You should know better when you are rolling in our bed with her!" I shouted.

Kelvin grabbed the tip of my shirt. "I know you have made the decision of divorcing me. I won't hold you back. But the $200k...."

"Don't even think about it! I can give you this disgusting house, but the 300k was mostly my dad's insurance money and my savings. You got nothing to do with it! I need it to support me to start a new life!"
