1) Q: What keeps you going? When you’re writing, creating, and you’re at the pulling teeth stage, what keeps you going to get it out of your head and onto the page?
A: What keeps me going is the hope that for somebody, somewhere, this story means something- that maybe they are in dire situations and my characters help them pull through with their head high. That it resonates with someone. When I was a kid, I escaped horror through reading, and I can’t just quit on a potential kid or adult doing the same with my words.
2) Q: Obviously you enjoy writing this genre, are there others you enjoy as much?
A: I love writing light-hearted fantasy and kids-lit most, anything that doesn’t take itself too seriously.
3) Q: What’s your favorite work made by another creator?
A: HUE ARE YOU!!
4) Q: What are some differences between serializing your work and publishing it as one compiled product, such as a novel?
A: The main difference is episode size vs chapter size- you need smaller episodes than you’d make chapters- you also need faster pacing for episodical, so as to keep your readers on edge! You can’t afford slow scenes, at least not many.
