"Mommy, I want to go home," Sakura cried.
Lillian sighed. "Right now, that's impossible dear, remember."
Commander Moon was sitting beside the teal-colored molly watching her kits play with Sean and Lily. "Sakura must be homesick." Lillian nodded.
"I heard that they'll be out working today," Braveleaf meowed laying in the sun. She looked like she was ready to give birth.
The three mollies jumped when Hawkheart, Lionpool, and Peachclaw came back. They were missing someone though. "Where's Trainee Ice?"
"This kid with orange hair took Trainee Ice thinking she was a lost housecat," Hawkheart growled.
"We have to get her back!" Commander Moon shrieked.
"We can't leave my sister in the hands of a strange human," Trainee Tiger hissed joining the conversation.
Villie's ears pricked. "I know that human. I think I can talk some sense to him." Trainee Tiger gave Commander Moon pleading eyes.
"Alright, I'm going as well as Trainee Tiger, Brightpool, and Puppylove," she meowed.
The rescue patrol left camp to head off to the village that was near the forest the Families resided in. Commander Moon felt a little nervous as she's never been to the village but at least Villie knew where they were going. As they got closer, Villie hopped onto one of the village huts and the other cats did the same.
Commander Moon spotted Trainee Ice looking through the window of the hut she was in. She looked rather bored but not scared or anything so at least these humans weren't bad. Trainee Tiger was clawing at the roof at the sight of his sister. "She's so close," he whispered. He yelped when the roof shook as loud music came from inside the roof.
"Nice mix tape," Brightpool giggled from the hut beside the one Commander Moon and Trainee Tiger. She stopped when Villie hopped on down to go knock on the door.
"We should attack," Trainee Tiger whispered.
"Not unless Villie says so," Commander Moon whispered back.
The door to the hut opened and a young pale-skinned boy with red-orange hair and cerulean eyes came out and gasped at Villie. "What are you doing here?"
"Give us Trainee Ice or I'm destroying your neighbor's horrible music," Villie explained in a calm but sinister tone. She quickly glanced at Brightpool who was sitting on the roof looking offended.
"I can't, Mom says Trainee Ice needs a shot," the boy explained.
Villie stood there for a sec before meowing, "Trainee Tiger, Commander, destroy the music box."
Commander Moon and Trainee Tiger hopped down and faced the door to knock before the boy cried, "Don't, please, I don't need Piece to be angry! I'll get your friend." He closed the door.
Brightpool jumped down to join Villie. "The music is not that bad." The rose tabby did a face paw and the purple lioness jumped into a bush when the boy opened the door. He dropped Trainee Ice at the doorstep.
"Please leave before my mom comes home and sees you," he told them.
"Thanks, Joja, really appreciate it," Villie meowed.
Trainee Ice gave her brother a hug. "I was afraid I was going to the vet. I probably would've never been able to have kits," she giggled.
Commander Moon cringed and headed out of the village with her Family. Thank goodness they saved Trainee Ice before she was taken to the vet.

"You saved Trainee Ice!" Blue cheered when the patrol got back. She tilted her head at Trainee Ice. "Did they feed you dry food?"
"No, the boy fed me this weird cheese stuff that has crust," Trainee Ice told the kit.
Commander Moon giggled. She was glad Joja didn't harm Trainee Ice in any way. She went to the nursery to go see her kits. On her way, she noticed Braveleaf with a small indigo tom that had black stripes curled up against her belly. Looks like she gave birth while we were out, Commander Moon thought.
"Commander," Lillian called.
The purple molly stopped to face the teal color molly. "What is it?"
"Well, the process is guaranteed for five months," Lillian mewed sadly.
"How come?" Commander Moon exclaimed.
Lillian's ears flattened. "Windglide got intoxicated or corrupted by the dark energy," she explained.
"Oh my," Commander Moon gasped. "Is he okay?"
"His friends say that he hasn't woken up, so they'll be working on our home their-selves with extra carefulness," Lillian explained.
Commander Moon only nodded. She hoped Windglide was okay. How did he get corrupted? She wondered if the dark energy somehow infected his body while he was clearing it out. Is that why he said Lillian and Braveleaf couldn't go back home?
"Is everything alright?" Lionpool asked.
"Windglide's been corrupted by the dark energy," Commander Moon told her when she made it back to the nursery.
Lionpool shuddered. "I remember hearing stories of such things as a kitten. Father would always tell me not to put my nose into strange things," she mewed.
Commander Moon shifted her paws and looked at her three sleeping kittens. Hopefully nothing like that would happen to her kittens. What side effects did dark energy have? Would Windglide be the same after he wakes up?
