Two months have passed since the event of Windglide being in a coma, as he hasn't woken up yet. Peachclaw was hesitant of accepting Trainee Thorn as her Trainee after revealing the death of her two kittens she named Starry and Wishful. Lillian's kits train with the others but won't accept a name since they don't feel belonged.
Hopefully she passes this time, Commander Moon sighed. Trainee Blue was making her second attempt at the Trainee Test since she failed last week.
"What will happen if Trainee Blue fails again?" Yoshe asked his mother.
"I may just let her slide as she seems to be frustrated," Commander Moon told her youngest son. In reality, Trainee Blue was showing odd signs. Lionpool begged her to let Trainee Blue have a pass after this so she can rest.
What if she caught what Windglide has? Commander Moon thought with worry. Hopefully it was a cold.
A pigeon flew into camp and landed on Commander Moon's head. "Trainee Blue barely passed before fainting," Pigeon explained.
"IS SHE OKAY?" Lionpool shrieked from the nursery.
The messenger nodded his head. "Maxfire believes it was from anticipation." Before flying away, he added, "Commander Pink will be coming later to have a meeting about the strange aura." He flew off.
I wonder what she has to say, Commander Moon thought. Maybe Commander Pink knows about how to get rid of the aura since Windglide's friends obviously don't message them. She lifted her head when Sheep approached her.
"I'll be visiting my friends tomorrow for some meeting about Sochi's Island tree being stolen," Sheep told the commander.
Commander Moon smiled. "Okay, ask if they can help us find that villain guy." Sheep gave a paws up.
Soon, Maxfire came back with Trainee Blue lying unconscious on his back. Commander Moon could see that she was breathing so there wasn't anything to worry about. I don't see anything odd, so I think it's just anticipation...

"It's very nice of you to come," Commander Moon purred as Commander Pink and her Councilor Waterheart came into camp. The sun was starting to set, and Trainee Blue was bouncing around the guests.
"Very energetic," Waterheart noted when Maxfire scolded his Trainee.
Commander Pink stayed silent, and Commander Moon led her over to the Meeting Tree Stump. Her Councilor just stayed at the entrance examining all that was going on in the camp. "I was told that you wanted to speak to me about the aura."
"About that," Commander Pink started. "We heard someone got infected by it."
Commander Moon sighed. "He was a cat named Windglide..." Her voice trailed off when Commander Pink looked confused.
"We weren't noted that it was a cat," Commander Pink pointed out. "Our Doctor went to check that area you mentioned and saw some creature with wings unconscious against a tree while his friends were clearing that area."
Was I wrong about Windglide being a cat or did the Light Family Doctor see someone else? Commander Moon wondered. She shook it away. "Are you sure it wasn't someone else?"
"He was told that the creature was named Windglide so I'm assuming he's a shapeshifter of some sort," Commander Pink explained. "Anyway, I fear this strange aura is going to spread."
Commander Moon lashed her tail. "A visitor of Darkness Family named Iceflame knew about this strange aura."
"Commander Goose told me he already left a month ago because of important duties so we're pretty much scraping rock bottom," Commander Pink sighed. "Unless Windglide's friends are willing to give answers."
When saying that, Lillian walked through entrance looking a bit disgusted when seeing Waterheart but smiled when Commander Moon called her over. She explained to her about their meeting and whether Windglide's friends dropped any information about what's with this strange aura.
"Let's just say that the cat guy told me it's probably Bluestep from Misty Family as he has the same aura," Lillian explained.
"Odd that a Misty Family cat can carry such darkness without dying," Commander Pink said suspiciously.
Everything fell silent causing Commander Moon and Commander Pink to flatten their ears. Was Bluestep hiding something from everyone? If so, does Commander Gray know of this as well? Commander Pink stomped her paw on the ground.
"If Commander Gray knows this then he needs to execute that-that cat," Commander Pink growled.
Commander Moon was unsure of all this. Then, she remembered the dream she had a few months ago from Noseherb. He said the villainous leader's henchman wanted the Families dead and Trainee Fire heard Porphyry and Bluestep talk about destroying Moon Family. Everything's tying together, Commander Moon thought.
She hopped on top of the tree stump. "All I know is that Bluestep is either the threat or Porphyry is the threat," she stated.
"Porphyry? Wait, what are you talking about?" Commander Pink asked now confused.
Commander Moon took a deep breath. "Noseherb told me about three months ago that someone from far away is coming to destroy the Families. One of my trainees heard Bluestep speak of that very thing."
Lillian gasped. "Which means our next step is to talk with Commander Gray!"
And there's no way that's going to be easy, Commander Moon thought. She feared that they might not be ready to take on such a threat. If Bluestep turns out to be powerful, Commander Moon fears of losing her Family to all this. Hopefully we can get some support from Sheep's friends.
"I'll warn Light Family of this," Commander Pink told Commander Moon. "We'll try to support in any way we can. Waterheart, let's go!" Her Councilor was speaking with Trainee Crow before rushing after his Commander.
"Commander Moon," meowed Lillie as Commander Pink and Waterheart left. "I have a bad feeling we're about to jump into a dangerous situation."

Sheep came back from the island telling Commander Moon about how the Sochi/Zochi Tribe would help support as well as her friend Browntop and her gang would also help. Lostleap's friends Chief Duck and the Army Duck would also help. That made Commander Moon feel a bit better, but she was nervous after explaining to Lostleap how they would go see Windglide in a couple minutes and have a patrol go with them to Misty Family.
"With this much help, we'll definitely defeat this bad guy," Lostleap laughed.
"I'm so nervous about confronting Commander Gray about this though," Commander Moon meowed.
Lostleap flicked his ear. "With a patrol, we'll be able to run if need to."
They stayed silent as they made it to Lillian and Braveleaf's former home. A raspberry-colored cat-like Spellcheer and a dog-like Spellcheer were talking to each other while looking exhausted. They stopped when they spotted Commander Moon and Lostleap.
"No one's allowed here until this is fixed," the cat hissed.
Commander Moon flinched back. "We only wanted to check on Windglide and how things are going."
Lostleap nodded. "Yes, we had a meeting about all this."
"With whom?" the dog asked.
"Commander Pink and Lillian," meowed Commander Moon. "We're preparing to confront Misty Family about this."
"Don't...do it...unless you want to die," Windglide muttered from the tree.
"Drachen!" The cat exclaimed but shook his head when Commander Moon and Lostleap looked at him. "Windglide, you're alive!"
Windglide ignored him and stood to his feet. Commander Moon felt a little intimidated by his height in this form he was in. "We have to do this or else all the Families could end up falling apart," Commander Moon cried.
Silence fell and Commander Moon could see both fear and worry in Windglide's eyes and he turned to face the cat and dog Spellcheer. "I'll let you do it but if you fail, I'm taking the matter into my own hands," he explained.
Commander Moon and Lostleap gave a small frown at Windglide. They were both a bit nervous about failing to convince Commander Gray into listening to them, but they couldn't let this go on forever. They waved goodbye to Windglide who gave a small smile as they left to get back to camp and get a patrol ready.
Once at camp, a lot of the members were speaking with each other while some were playing games with the Trainees and kits. All of them stopped to gaze at Commander Moon and Lostleap, curious at what they were going to say.
"We have decided to visit Misty Family camp tomorrow," Commander Moon meowed. "In this patrol, I want to bring Lostleap, Sparrowclaw, Trainee Willow, Sheep, Trainee Fire, Brightpool, and Trainee Cinder."
The ones chosen all gave each other excited looks as they get to go see another Family. Lostleap smiled and said, "Get a good night's rest as we'll be leaving early tomorrow." They all nodded and headed into their caves to go to bed early. Lostleap went to go join them.
Shining Skies, please don't let us fail, Commander Moon thought as she headed into the Commander's Mud Cave to get some rest herself.
