Hey guys! So this is a new and improved version of Chapter 1! The series started out as a single 8 page minicomic with no plans at all for continuation. That obviously did not occur. Because of this, I decided I wanted to make an "official" origin story that would be more in line with the lore and backstory I've since made for the series. The original minicomic and one inksgiving minicomic are no longer canon, but I prefer this version to both of those! I don't know if I'll remove the now non-canon material or not but will probably ask what others think beforehand because I'd hate to lose all those nice comments scream

Super excited to see a new take on the original minicomic!
I definitely think the originals should be kept up, though ideally it would be great if it's possible to go back and edit the author comment at the bottom of them to include a note about them being non-canon and the updated version being posted later, etc.
