Asher saw the bullets clearly. He moved just in time. He was always proud of something. Something his father hated and made him hide from the world. His inhuman ability. The reason he loved wild animals is he somehow inherited some of their qualities.
The twin's growling felt familiar because he growls like that. He can run faster. Climb higher. Break iron rods. Can see clearly at night. But they were never appreciated by his father. His mother supported him but he never wanted to hurt his father so he hid them. Sometimes from his own self.
He can never control his anger and ended up in jail numerous times. His father always has to clean up his mess. His mother understood him and stood by him. His big brother never had these issues.
He can see the bullets clearly. And he always can. That’s why he tried to fight the monster before but the woman crossed him and took that shot for him. She got hurt for him. It made him travel deeper into a murderous rage. He smiled sweetly at the monster. Before the monster blink. He stood in front of him. He saw dead fear and enjoyed every bit of it. The monster stumbled and fell on his ass.
He shot again and Asher moved comfortably. Asher pointed his piston inside the mouth of the monster and enjoyed his mumble.
“What? I can't hear you?” He pressed the trigger. The bullet came out of the other side of his head.
“Anyone else?” Asher demanded.
The attackers were petrified. Most of them dropped their weapon on the ground and kneeled. He studied the attackers. Including the one laying near the cactuses helping himself to sit. The twins picked everyone’s guns and throw them near innocent people. He can see that guns were hurting their hands when touching them. The twins handle the pain as if it is not real. When they cleared the weapons they tied the attackers with rope. They went for the cactus.
“Please don’t touch me it hurts. Please. I regret the doings. Sorry. Please.” The cactus cried hardly.
A child from a lady's arm whimpered from cactus’s pain. The twins let him go. The twins turned their direction towards him.
“Ethan,” The honey twin muttered.
Asher looked at the twin. It puzzled him. The child whom he saved was also running around calling Ethan.
“Ethan, is that you?” The honey twin's voice held hope.
Asher saw the twin asking him. He thought that Ethan was the twin or the one who is dead. They have been calling him.
“My name is Asher. Oh. Do you want me to contact someone who can help you? Did that person Ethan told you that he come and save you?” Asher smiled at them.
The twin blinked. Another twin came and placed a hand on his twin.
Asher felt their pain but something else he noticed. Most of their wound was closed. He looked at others. Their wounds were not closed like that but it's not bad like before.
The child whom he saved ran towards him in better form. He jumped on top of him. Asher caught him with ease. But Asher’s mind is running.
“Ethan. Where… go?” The kid asked him in his sweet baby voice.
“Tony. Stop it. He is not Ethan.” The twin helped the child to get down and carried away.
Asher was distracted he didn’t see anything. The scream of a child brought him to reality. He saw the bastards who had been thrown on cactuses were holding a woman. He held a gun to her head.
“If you want to see this bitch alive…” The monster started to threatened.
“I don’t give a shit.” Asher looked directly into the eyes of the monster.
“Huh.”
“I don’t care if you kill her. She is nothing to me. But if I kill you and arrested your friends, other innocents can escape from you. So please go ahead and kill her so that I can finish you.” Asher smiled sweetly.
“Shit.” The monster realized the danger. He looked at him in a different view. Slowly his eyes brightened.
“You are not him. Huh?”
“What?” Asher muttered uninterested.
He wanted to distract him so that he can save her too. But he wasn’t lying when he said that he let her die to save the kids. So he played along.
“You are not Ethan. Ethan will save every single one. Everyone mattered for that dog. Never make a hasty decision. You on the other hand never bothered about anything. Not thinking before acting.” The monster was more than taking himself.
“Oh, Yes, I am not. So.” Asher moved towards the monster.
“Who are you?” The monster looked awed.
“Simple. Your death.”
“Oh. I won’t die that easily. If I am dying. Then I am taking her.” The monster looked at his friends and talked with them through his eyes.
“I too have few problems in understanding. Who is your leader? When you kill the king the war is over. I thought that was your leader.” Asher pointed to the one he killed first.
“Then I thought it’s them.” He pointed to the others whom he killed.
“I am seriously confused. I can't go on killing everyone. Sometimes the leader makes the followers do nonsense. I like to let them do their own sins before killing them. So, please do tell me who the leader is.” Asher combed his hair with his finger.
“None of us are. Our team leader went with their sister.” He nodded towards the twins. The twins growled and their faces turned red in anger.
“We were supposed to clean the place. But you came and made more mess. Ah. One thing I learned from my experience with these animals.” He nodded towards the people. “Even after you kill the king, sometimes the war never gets over. Like this war with these animals.” He pushed the woman away and shot her.
Asher moved in front of her and the bullet hit her. He didn’t get time to move her. So he tried to cover her. The bullet hit him. It got powdered and sprinkled all over him.
