“Why, Afet?”Jonam yelled.
“I said leave,” Ayaz snarled.
Joonam ran out the room, once again looking for Alibek. Everything seemed to take a turn for the worst.
What the fuck is Cairo? Joonam pondered.
Joonam ran past the dictatorial paintings and cracked windows. Fire razed the landscape while artillery shells could be seen and heard in the sky. A long line of refugees could be seen crossing the mountains. Alibek was running towards the confused delinquent.
“Joonam you have to come with me.”
He silently nodded and followed Alibek to a strange and dimly lit room below the premises.
“Do you still have that knife Afet gave you?”
“Uh yeah.”
“Make sure you keep it close.”
Alibek reached into a cabinet and pulled out two small phones.
“There’s nothing I can do about Cairo, but we can still talk with these.”
Is this idiot fucking insane? Joonam thought to himself.
Joonam paused.
“Sure,” He said hesitantly.
“I’ll be on my way to Cairo.”
“But Joonam, you still have a day to spend with me.”
He left the room as quickly as possible without responding to Alibek. Joonam made his way back to the dangerous Sultan. The guard that bashed Joonam’s head in was standing at the door.
“Hey, I would like to leave now.”
