Bonus info : Alexi used to be "Alexis" but English folks tend to pronounce the "s" at the end. These characters were " thought" in French, you see. No idea why we have a silent "s" at the end in french. But there you go. The more you know!

But in all serious, French phonetics are some of the most confusing things I've ever witnessed (I grew up speaking American English), and I chickened out of trying to lean. Shame, it's a beautiful language.
