Casey asked me to go sleep with him since it will help him sleep better. I didn't mind that comment, since I was his comfort. He ended up going back to sleep. I stay up a little longer. We had both changed into something different. Something flashed in front of my eyes. Something like fire. Casey started to cry and grip my shirt. He jotted up from his sleep, causing him to sit up. "Casey, look at me," I said, managing to sit up. He looked all over, to the point where I had to grab his face. "Casey, I'm here," I said. "J-J-Jay?" Casey asked. "Cas," I said. He wrapped his arms around me, crying harder into my shirt. "I'm so glad you are still alive," Casey said. "What did you mean?" I asked.
"I saw something. It was you burning," Casey cried. Wait. The marks. Do they have something to do with this? That doesn't matter right now. What matters right now is calming Casey. "Casey, I'm fine. It was just a nightmare. I'm safe," I said, running my hand through his hair. Casey sat up. "Promise?" he asked, voice cracking. "I promise," I said. He leaned over and kissed me. This kiss was completely different from the others. This one was longer and was more... passionate. He pinned me back to the bed. A knock on the door interrupted us. "Fuck," Casey muttered. He climbed off of me and sat on the bed. "What?" Casey shouted. "Just us," Ash said. "Let's them in?" Casey asked me. I nodded. "Come in," he said. Ash and Robyn walked in. Robyn had shut and locked the door behind her. "Ok, Robyn and I seen something," Ash started. "What?" Casey asked. "Jayden was on fire," Robyn said. "Me too," Casey said. I swallowed hard. "I wasn't going to mention this until we met up with Julia and Grace. But, I saw it too," I said.
"That's weird," Ash said. "I believe it's the marks. But, I'm not sure yet," I said. "Oh, okay," Robyn said. "Can we talk about this later? I'm still tired," Casey said. "Sure," Ash and Robyn said. "They unlocked the door and left. "Fucking assholes," Casey muttered. Casey laid back on my chest. "Are you comfortable?" I asked. "Yeah. Am I hurting you?" He said. "No," I said. He fell asleep a little later. I thought about that knife. How was it in the ground and manage to stab me? Julia was right. This is all a set-up.
