"We are here," Casey said. I stood up and waiting for the other in front of us. We got out of the bus. Casey walked to me and Ash. "Can I tell you something, alone?" Casey asked. "Sure, Ash?" I said. "Yeah," Ash said. "Stay here and wait for Julia," I said. Casey walked me to an empty place. "What's wrong?" I asked. "I don't want to be friends with benefits. I want us to be... more," Casey said. "What?" I asked. "I mean that I wanted to ask you out, but I know you might like Julia," Casey said. I grabbed their hand. "I'll think about it," I said. "Okay, take as much time you need," Casey said.
I left him there and met up with Julia and Ash. "Here," I said, "That's my address." I handing them each my address. "I live next to you," Ash said. "I live around the corner," said Julia. "Wait, Jay, Julia, your arms," Ash said. "What?" I said. "We have triangles," Julia said. There was a triangle just above the other mark. There was something written on each side of the triangles. It was our names. Well, it was my and Ashfur's. At the bottom of the triangles was just the letter 'j'. "That means that us three are closer than we think," Ash said. "We have to go," I said. "You are right, see you guys soon," Ash said.
We all started to walk our different ways. I noticed that Grace was sitting with her back against a tree. I started walking towards her when I felt someone grab my shoulder. "Jay, where are you going?" I heard from what sound like Casey. "I'm going to talk to Grace," I said, continuing walking. Casey walked in front of me and stopped. "What?" I said. Casey didn't answer and grabbed my arm. He walked me to Grace. "Sit," he muttered in my ear. "I don't listen to bottoms," I said in his ear, grabbed his neck. Grace stood up and began to walk away. "Grace, wait," I said. She stop in her tracks and turned to face me. "Yes," she responded. She barely talked, I nearly forget what she sounded like. "You rarely talked during camp, I was wondering if you would like to hang out sometime?" I asked. "Why?" she asked, fidgeting. "You know, so we can get to know each other a little better," I said.
She looked around and grabbed my arm, pulling me to a distant area from the others. Casey followed. "Can you kneel down?" she asked, in her soft voice. I knelt down and she whispered in my ear. "I have that mark." I swallowed hard. "Casey, can you go to that tree we were just at?" I asked. He nodded before running over to that tree. "What do you mean?" I asked. "It is complicated," she said. She started fidgeting with her hands. "I um... can we talk about this somewhere else?" I asked. "Sure, when and where?" she asked. "Hold on," I said, searching my pockets for my sticky notes. I found them and a pen. I jotted down my phone number. "Here, call me when you can. I will text you where to meet me later," I said, handing her the sticky note. "Okay, thanks," she said. She gave me a quick hug before running off.
I walked over to Casey. "What was that about?" Casey asked, almost immediately. "I can't tell you," I said. Grace caught my eye by waving from a car. I waved back. "Well, I got to go," said Casey. He gave me a peck on the lips before running off. My siblings found me and we walked home together.
