I barely had the opportunity to marvel at her flexibility. She was crushing my shoulders and slipping. I grabbed onto her feet to stabilize her and focused on listening. Foul Mouth would warn us if somebody was coming. I hoped.
I could only hear one side of the conversation, but it appeared Noah had managed to get himself a spot with the cooks as foodbringer. It gave him a decent knowledge of the area and the workings of the station. I knew he was a smart one. Apparently he was entrusted with finding "stuff to cook" so that the others could try and do something with it. He managed with the sling apparently. Brought rabbits and squirrels. He was even allowed in the forest. Good.
He was not, however, allowed near us or even the prisoners in general. We learned there were many more. He said he 'd return as soon as he could so we could put a plan together, but they were waiting for him in the kitchen. We heard someone shout his name. He ran.
"See? Hope!" Said Percy as she jumped from my shoulders, crushing them for good while doing so.
