It’s 19:20 and she JUST FUCKING WOKE UP IN THE INFIRMARY! How long has she been sleeping?? Yeah ok it was a good idea to get some shut eye in the infirmary but where was the alarm? Did she not put it? That’s plain irresponsibility. Now she is running like crazy, cold sweating.
now was the time for her to socially interact and she Already fucks shit up.
She gets to the gymnasium, maybe not everything is lost? She sees two people she recalls being part of the band, a short-black-haired girl holding the drum’s toms, each under each arm and bringing them to the right of the gymnasium, and a small overweight guy picking, in the other side of the gymnasium, the bass drum.
Ann needs information and they may deliver it, the girl has an intimidating vibe, better not to mess with her just yet, Ann levels of social skills are still pretty pathetic, so Ann walks towards the guy, he has a friendly really round-y face with a small neckbeard and glasses, he looks like a more friendly easy going fella, perfect.
Ann: huff huff huff
Ann: hi…. Huff…
Friendly guy: oh hi? Are you okay?
Ann: Yeah….
Ann: I just ran here
Ann: I’m so sorry…. Huff… I was supposed to be here 20 minutes ago to help organizing for the festival
Ann: huff huff
Friendly guy: don’t worry, no problem
Friendly guy: we barely just started hahaha
Friendly guy: me and Sue are moving the drum’s kit right now
He gestures with his head towards the black haired girl. He is still kneeling to pick up the drum bass, but stopped moving in order to talk to Ann.
Friendly guy: but I don’t know how you can help, I think we should speak with Chris
Ann: okay
Ann: You know where he is?
Friendly guy: he is probably near the stage checking everything
Friendly guy: he is doing a lot of things as I remember
Ann: okay, thanks
Ann: sorry, what’s your name by the way?
Friendly guy: it’s mark haha
Ann: nice to meet you Mark
Mark: Ann
Mark: we are in the same class haha
Ann: but yeah, I think you are not so outgoing so it’s hard to notice
Ann: I think outgoing is not really the word
Mark: Yeah but I get it sometimes it’s hard to remember me haha
Ann: oh yeah of course haha
Ann: I mean it happens with me too
Ann: yeah
Ann: sorry
Mark: for what?
Ann: I thought
Ann: I offended you when I said it’s easy to forget someone like you
Ann: not like that THAT you know
Mark: I was not offended
Mark: it’s ok
Congratulations Ann!! ANN SCORED A 40 OUT OF 100 IN HER SOCIAL INTERACTIONS WITH THIS DUMPSTERFIRE OF A CHAT, WHICH IS, as I am seeing in my archives, A NEW HIGH SCORE!! WHAT?? It would be pretty impressive if it was not so pathetic.
Actually it’s still pretty impressive
God what a car crash that was, now he looks offended, I hope she does not try to make things better. It would be better to accept this defeat and look forward to the next encounter, which, by the way, has pretty big chances of being with Chris a guy, as we remember in the fifteenth episode, is in a relationship with, the insufferable, Maria.
It’s nigh impossible to upset, or turn the conversation awkward, with that guy, or at least that is what Ann hopes.
What am I doubting of course it’s going to go smoothlyyyy aaaand the dark-short-haired girl is talking to him.
The one with the intimidating vibe.
Sue: Dude… uhmm…
Chris: What?
Sue: we talked already about your look
Sue: you don’t plan on going like that to the show right?
Chris: Why not?
Sue: you don’t LOOK like a rockstar
Sue: Do you have a black shirt? Or jacket?
Sue: You should look like a rockstar for the show
Sue: not like a…
Sue: I don’t know…
Chris: A nerd?
Sue: I wasn’t thinking about that but I guess
She looks powerful and that makes Ann a little bit insecure, considering also that she kind of screwed things over back then and that made her a little bit agitated.
Now Ann is just a little bit standing still like a weirdo simply staring at them, listening to the conversation, what are we to do dear reader? We can not interfere. We can just watch as Chris and Sue look at Ann, keep talking, ignore her and she stays there.
Ann: HEY!
Ann walks closer to both of them
Ann: Hi Chris I’ve been looking everywhere for you
Ann: Where have you been?
Chris: here in the gymnasium for like
Chris: half an hour I guess
Ann: Yeah sorry
Ann: I got here a little late
Ann: Sorry
Ann turns in a pretty fake attempt to sound surprised about Sue’s presence there
Ann: oh hi I didn’t see you there
Sue: how could you not have seen?
Ann: ah….
Ann: I have like….
Ann: an eye problem haha
Sue: okay
Ann: Uhm.. I wanted to talk to Chris
Sue: okay?
Ann: uhm… Chris do you…. Want help in anything?
Chris: yes haha, im glad you are here
Chris: There are some guys already fixing the lights
Chris: Do you know how to manage the sound?
Ann: nope
Chris: ok haha, i thought so
Chris: Well not that i think you are incapable
Chris: I just didn’t think you are an artist
Chris: Don’t
Chris: by artist i mean musician
Chris: It’s also a good thing to know in case you were
Chris: we kind of need a new guitarist
Chris: and i know it’s weird to need a member
Chris: two days before the main show hahaha
Sue looks at him like an actress trying to understand another actor that went array on the script, one eyebrow up. Chris is just mumbling at this point
Chris: Marc is helping with the drums kit
Chris: Me and Sue already finished packing like
Chris: half of our stuff and the rest is easy
Chris: so you can go help Marc
Ann: Okay
But, unfortunately for Mark, Ann had better plans, which did not involve carrying drum parts around, it involved more investigation shenanigans. To be more exact, Ann was going to sneak into the principal’s office where, in his computer, you can find the camera’s recordings of the school.
