A young man of the age of 22, Joshua Goodman is currently on the phone stressing about what happened to him last night while talking to his friend Steve on the phone.
"After a long day of work, I was taking the late train back home. I could've walked but, it was getting late and the time was 10:45 pm. I was super tired from the 10-hour shift. I'd say the job was pretty decent, working with a bunch of super-powered beings from other planets helping save the earth from an invading alien race... is pretty cool.
As I was saying, I ended up walking to the nearest, subway station and waited for the train to arrive.
The time was 11:00 pm and the train should've been there but it wasn't, I got up and checked down the entrances to see if I could see a train coming. Nothing to my luck, I guess I had to walk home now for sure. As I was about to leave I heard the sounds of something coming down from the tunnel, I jumped up and looked around, what I saw wasn't a train though. It looked as if Light was rushing forward. The sound coming from the light made me deaf for a moment. The light passed by in the blink of an eye it was gone and the train had arrived. I for sure thought I was hallucinating because I was tired from work and needed rest. So I took the train home, took a shower, ate some food, smoked a joint, then went to bed.
I woke up the next day with this computer system thing in my head, telling me to start the "Martian System".
Then I called you Steve, could you help me out bro, what do I do? I don't have any powers and why would I want some, I like my job! I'm confused."
Steve then leaned over toward Josh and told him "It's a once in a lifetime opportunity, I wouldn't want to miss it. Plus you could work with me in my division, depending on what kind of system this thing is. I'd say try it out and if you don't like it don't use it."
"I guess your right, I'll hit you later G," said Josh. He had hung up the phone and stared at the ceiling. He then closed his eyes and the system had popped up in his head, "Start Martian System, Yes or No?"
"What's the worse that could happen right," Josh had thought to himself. He clicked Yes and the system started to boot up

It had seemed that Josh had a decision to make, would he take a chance at fate for a life of a super, or continue his life as a regular 22-year-old guy.
