I didn't want the comic to take place in a specific irl location, so I just picked one of the most common names of US cities (Madison) and placed it in the state where no such place exists (Kentucky)

After Ryan and his friends Jackie and Sasha realize their new acquiantence has only seen glimpses of humanity when he is summoned, they decide to show him the complicated ways of the modern world (like a timetravelling tourist). But what they also have to figure out now is what's causing their reality to literally break apart into pieces.
Oh, and figuring out what you truly desire is so, so hard...
