6 hours later Ryan awoke. 

Young Ryan: “Ah… What… what happened?” 

George: “Ryan you’re awake.” 

Young Ryan: “Father? Where?” (!!!!) “Where’s Charles?!” 

The boy then felt pain in his shoulder. 

Young Ryan: “Ah!” 

George: “Ryan calm yourself you’re injured.” 

Young Ryan: “I don’t care about that! Is Charles!” 

George: “He’s fine, you both are, we’re back at camp.” 

Young Ryan: “So his injury?!” 

George: “Just like yours has been treated.” 

Ryan look over to see Charles was sleeping in the other bed. 

Young Ryan: “[Sigh] thank goodness.” 

George: “Ryan?” 

Young Ryan: “Hmm?” 

Suddenly Ryan was slapped across the cheek. 

Young Ryan: “H--huh?!” 

George: “How could you let this happen to your younger brother, knowing you Ryan, you were to absorb with finding the treasure that you neglected your brother when he needed you most!” 

Young Ryan: “I…[sniff] I’m sorry! It’s all my fault!” 

George: “You’re right it is, but it is also mine for putting you both through this, you both can’t go exploring with me,  when Charles awakens we’re all going home.” 

The father left the tent. 

Young Ryan: “It’s all my fault! It’s all my fault! [Sobbing]!” 

[Present time] 

Ryan: “I remember… it was such a dreadful memory.” 

Charles: “We didn’t talk about that day after I recovered we all just went back home and forgot about it, but I was awake and remembered when I saw you and Dad talking and when you carried me to safety.” 

Ryan: “You must hate me dearly for what I did to you…” 

Charles: “it’s the opposite, I admire you.” 

Ryan: “What?” 

Charles: “You came back for me Ryan and saved me, without you I wouldn’t be here.” 

Ryan: “...” 

Charles: “My biggest regret from that day is that I didn’t speak up when I saw you and father talking. If I had said something maybe we would have grown closer as a family.” 

Ryan: “Charles.” 

Charles: “Family is more valuable than any treasure, father said but didn’t stick to that, he just became distant to us after, probably because of what happened, if I said something maybe he’d still go on expedition with us.” 

Ryan: “Charles…” 

Charles: “But.” 

Charles let go of Maxdell and stood on his own. 

Ryan: “Charles, wait, are you able to?” 

Charles: “I’m fine I can walk.” 

Lay and Nowell stopped and look back at the two. 

Ryan: “Charles I’m…” 

Charles: “Ryan, it’s not late to start over with Luna and Julia and make up for what we’ve done, let’s go home and--“ 

Suddenly a giant crash appeared next to the 4. 

Nowell: “What the hell?!” 

Ryan: “What was that?!” 

Lay: “Stay on guard!” 

Rise: “Hehehe hey guys, thought you seen the last of me?” 

Ryan: “Rise!” 

Rise: “What say we settle the score Maxdell and Shady!” 

Lay: “Tch!” 

Ryan: “Rise, let’s stop this!” 

Rise: “After the bullshit you put me through? Calling me a liability? Having the crew go against me? Are you forgetting how capable I am?” 

Ryan: “I know how capable you are. I had no intention of going against you!” 

Rise: “Well you did! You got in the way of me and that angel! You said you’d let me be the one to take it down!” 

Ryan: “You saw the situation! If you slipped up against those creatures, things would be even more dire for us!” 

Rise: “Slip up, huh? You really do underestimate me!” Rise began charging up. 

Ryan: (Damn!) 

Lay: “I’ll take care of him.” 

Rise: “Shady, so you still want to go at it, how ballsy of you! But do you honestly think you stand a chance?” 

Nowell: “Lay he’s right! This guy’s a serious opponent you can’t take him alone!” 

Lay: “Shut up I decide that!” 

Lay rush over to Rise.

Rise: “Come on then!”

Lay dashed and slashed at Rise while Rise block the attack with his right arm holding the attack back.

Rise: “You should know firsthand that going toe to toe with me is a death sentence!” 

Lay: “You think I’m afraid of a shit-eating Meathead like you!”

Rise: “Guess I gotta set the record straight yet again, huh!”

Rise pushed the attack away and went in to grab Lay with his left arm, but Lay intercepted the attack and ducked.

Rise: (Heh!)

Lay prepared to slash Rise lower half until Rise kneed him with his right leg away, pushing him back 5 meters.

Lay: “Eh!”

Rise: “Here I come!”

Rise quickly dashed in, closing the distance, and threw a punch while Lay dodged to the left of the attack. Rise then followed by throwing a left uppercut at Lay who was in range, Lay tilted back and dodged.

Rise: (Hmmm I’ll admit he’s pretty good on his feet.) “Eat this!”

Rise then threw out a sidekick while dashed back and did a spin kick and collided with Rise’s kick.

Lay: (I’ll transfer my aura into his leg to do some damage!)

Lay transferred his aura.

Rise: “Bad move shady!”

Rise pushed the aura from Lay’s foot back to him with his.

Lay: “Aaaaah!!”

Rise then pushed Lay back with a push from his leg that had collided with Lay’s.

Lay: “Gah! Dammit!”

Rise: “Come on Shady, what were you thinking you know I’ve got more power than you do when it comes to my Forcer, how about you just give up!” 

Nowell: “Stop now!” 

Nowell said pointing a gun at Rise.

Lay: “Stay out of this Hindsight!”

Nowell: “I can’t do that Lay!”

Rise: “I don’t blame your friend, cause when I’m done with you, he and the Maxdell’s are next. If anything you four should completely jump me, maybe then you’d stand a chance right shady?”

Lay: “You talk too much.”

Rise: “Boring too, guess you just want to cut to the finale where I beat your ass into the ground.”

Lay: “Shut your hole already!”

Lay said, charging forward.

Rise: “Hmph.”

Lay ran and held the blade backwards and did a barrage of slashes to Rise.

Lay: (Crazer barrage!) 

Rise block the attacks but was being pushed back.

Rise: (Whoa this attack is pretty serious it’s actually damaging my field, but!)

Rise concentrated a huge chunk of his aura into his right arm and quickly grab Lay by the throat.

Rise: “I’ll just use 59% more of my Forcer!”

Lay: “[Choking]”

Nowell: “Lay!”

Rise: “It’s over shady.”
