Mauve sat at his desk, a lamp illuminating his room with an orange hue. It was the middle of the night yet he could not sleep. He got news that the queen had disappeared and that a representative from a powerful noble house would replace her. It was not exactly bad news for him. He was afraid of Queen Malicia and now that she was gone, he would not be forced into servitude. On his desk was an unopened letter. It was destined to the ex-queen of Traal. He pondered over the happenings in Traal where he faced danger. There was no harm opening it now, he thought. He broke the seal and started reading the letter. 

“Your highness, Queen Traal,

 We demand that the sorcerer and criminal Monstro be sent back to the kingdom of Sefra where he will be executed in public for his heinous crimes and heresy towards our Goddess and the high Sefran religious order. It is a great sin for Sefrans to serve any figure of power other than our Goddess, Dame Fortune. Our holy knights have been looking for Monstro all over Velli in the past for his transgression in serving King Malek Velli. We thank you for subduing this heretic.”

Mauve looked up, puzzled. So, Monstro is Sefran?
