Nu-Tokyo, 2050.
Replicants, or Reps, coexist in the society in order to improve human life. Some consider them an advanced life form. Some openly oppose them, like the Church of the True Man. Special agent Chris Walker understands right away that it will not be an easy case when NOVA hires him to track down the three specimens that escaped from the Corporation’s labs. Three evolved, upgraded and dangerous creatures that, while escaping, kidnapped their brilliant creator, Dr. Fisher, and his young daughter Sybilla.
When Walker reluctantly finds himself protecting the little girl, along with his companions Angelo, Yasuke, and the skilled hacker Andrea, he ends up being hunted by all the forces at play, interested in the father of the girl. And while the seeds of the Reps’ rebellion spread throughout the whole city, the agent starts to doubt his beliefs on which side should he really ally himself with.
