I was surprised, I had never seen a person actually have their absolute-form, and I had never seen a mystic Cerberus before. They are one of the super rare dog variants and one of the strongest. They are almost legendary. But there Brighten was in front of us, standing at around 15 feet tall on all fours, with three heads on his shoulders. You could hear a menacing growl coming from his mouth as we all stood there waiting for Jasper to make the first move. Brighten shifted on his feet as he stood there staring at Jasper, his eyes never left him. 

“Lillia, do you really think Brighten can take him? Do you know what he is?” Astro asked Lil, side glancing at the scene unfolding in front of us.

Lil looked up at him, as Ash healed her leg. “Astrologh… I honestly don’t know if Bri can. Jasper’s an alpha griffin. I don’t think he’s a mystic or anything, but he’s got flight which isn’t really gonna help Bri anytime soon. Maybe Art and Cai can help there but, I’m not sure I’ve not seen them fight for months.”

Astrologh rubbed his face thinking, “Well, I guess that’s what we will have to do then. Arturo! Caius! Take flight stop him in the air!” As soon as he spoke two men started transforming. The one with bright yellow eyes and long black hair had pale skin and bee like wings, while the one with red eyes and brown hair had large brown wings of a owl. They took to the sky and created a block so jasper couldn’t escape that way. “Oliver!” A guy with dark orange hair and bright blue eye turned around. “Maverick!” A guy with sandy brown hair and red eyes started walking towards us. “Merrick!” A man with reddish hair and green eyes stood up and looked at us. “Drayton!” A man with dusty brown hair and red eyes standing next to me nodded. “Absolute! Circle him in. Don’t let him leave.” 

They transformed in the blink of an eye, a jackal, a coyote, and a puma, then another jackal standing right next to me. Ash was just about done healing Lil. 

“Astro, I can help. She’s just about healed, once I’ve finished, Ryinth and Juniper can take her back to the sanctuary and get her some medicine. I can help hold off Jasper with Brighten. I’m strong enough, I’ve got my absolute.” Ash asked Astrologh.

“No. You’re going back with Lillia so make sure she get’s a collar on asap. We don’t know how many alphas are here in the woods.” Astrologh responded quickly.

“Oi!” Yelled a man with strawberry blond hair and blue eyes, as he ran over to us, “I’ve got a collar for ‘er so no biggie!”

“Thanks Logan, go on and put it on me.” Lil said moving her head to he could put on the collar.

As Logan was putting on her collar, Astrologh looked over at him and said “Why aren’t you on the perimeter with the others?” 

“Ummmm… cause ya didn’ tell me to.” Logan said raising an eye brow.

“Well get over there. Quickly.” He said as he waved him away, “With her having a collar Ash, you can stay.” 

“Alrighty.” Ash confirmed as he finished up Lil’s leg. “There, you’re legs healed. I wouldn’t go crazy yet. But you should be good to walk and run for now, just lay off it for a while.” 

Lil nodded and took her weight off of me and Lib, watching the scene along with us, as Astrologh called out a final time “Absolute!” Commanding all of the rest of the guys to fully transform. The guys pinning people down turned into three pandas, a koala, a polar bear, a brown bear, and a whale. Everyone else seamed to stay on the edges of the clearing, turning into a mountain lion, a lion, a buffalo, and an oryx. Ash transformed into a huge jade green dragon, Logan turned into a cougar, and Astrologh turned into a lynx. Only two guys stayed with us in second form. 

As Astrologh walked away from us he turned around and said, “Take her to safety. Don’t look back.” 

“Come on Lilli, let’s go.” Said one of the guys grabbing her arm.

‘No. Not yet.” Lil said, brushing off his hand. “Just one minute.”The guy shrugged as he looked at the scene ahead of us. 

Jasper laughed loudly, “You really think you can beat me!” He said as he went into full-form. His legs transformed into the legs of a lion, and wings sprouted from his back. “I can take all of you!” 

He started attacking Brighten, blows between the two of them started. Brighten held his own in the beginning needing little help from the others, but only a minute or two Ash came in to help. After only a minute with Ash and Brighten attacking Jasper, he was able to throw the two of them off to the side for a moment. Just long enough to look over at us and shout “So they're fighting your battles for you? I thought you were going to do this on your own!” Before being struck by Brighten again.

“Atty!” I heard Lil cry out, which bought my attention over to the panda holding down Braden. Braden had slunk his tail around the pandas throat and was choking him. “Matt! Dan! Help him please!” Lil yelled. As soon as she did, the lion and mountain lion came charging at Braden trying to subdue him. 

As I looked back at Jasper, Brighten, and Ash, Jasper had struck Ash sending him flying through the air hitting a large tree and sliding to the ground. By the time he hit the ground he was back to his original form. Lil pushed both of the guys with us away yelling at them to heal Atty and Ash. Tears were rolling down her cheeks as she saw her brothers wounded. Lib grabbed her and held her back from running to them and trying to help them, telling her it was alright. That they were okay. 

The guys kept fighting against Jasper, landing impairing hits on him only to have him land just as deadly hits on them. It seamed as if everyone was taking a breather when Jasper locked eye’s with Lil and called out, “So. Are you just gonna let me kill your brothers one by one before I capture you. Or are you gonna stop me?” 

Lib and I started pleading with Lil to leave as we tried to pull her with us into the woods. That it was time to go. But she shook us off and took off at a run towards Jasper, yelling back to him“I’ll take you down myself then!”

As she ran, Jasper went back into second-form and pulled a sword form his hip. And Lil, she transformed. There was a shimmering light flowing around her arms and legs, circling slowly around her face, leaving behind silver dragon scales in their place. As she got closer to Jasper, she pulled her great sword from the ground in front of her and got ready to attack. I could hear the calls from all around me telling her to stop, to run away, to save herself. But I couldn’t join them. All I could yell was “You got this! Beat his ass!”

Their fight was intense, blocking each others blows, the swords clashing against each other ringing throughout the clearing. With each blow you could feel the tension tighten. The air felt heavy in my chest, breathing getting slower and harder. I could hear Lib screaming which brought my attention back to the ground. Braden and the rest of his group were being handcuffed with transform blocking cuffs. I then looked over at Lib, to see him being dragged away from Lillith by Matt and the man who turned into a buffalo, he was fair skinned with dark brown hair and light orange eyes.

“Let me go!” Lib screamed and struggled as he was pulled off to the side of the clearing.

“No! Lib we can’t let you! He’s gonna kill you if we do!” Yelled Matt right back at him.

“But-“ 

“But nothing! Even if he doesn’t kill you, Lillia defiantly will for interrupting her fight!” Said the other man as they pulled him back.

“No!” Lib continued to struggle against the guys.

“Stay back Lib!” Lil yelled as she continued fighting against Jasper, her eyes never wavered towards anyone they stayed fixated on Jasper. Lil’s next blow pushed Jasper back.

“You think you have time to talk?” Jasper asked as he slid his sword back into its sheath and grabbed Logan who was hiding behind a tree preparing to attack. He slammed Logan’s head into the tree busting it open. “Why don’t you put down the sword and surrender. Go on if you don’t I’ll kill your poor brother.” Jasper smiled cunningly.

“Lillia no! Don’t worry about me.” Logan smiled kindly through the blood sliding down his face. “I got this, please Lillia.”

Calls came out from everyone telling her to keep fighting, they would take care of Logan, and for her to run the other way. She looked conflicted as she questioned what to do.

She shrugged and shook her head as she laid her sword on the ground and started walking towards Jasper and Logan.

“Lillia no…” Logan said as Lil walked towards them.

“Ohhh so that didn’t take as long as I thought it would’ve. I figured I would’ve had to hurt him a wee bit more before you took me seriously.” Jasper said comically.

“Really you questioned my devotion to my family. That’s not very nice Jasper.” Lil commented as she slowed her walking down.

“NO.” a shutter went down my spine, I looked over and saw Brighten, blood still pouring down his face as he walked towards them. “TURN AROUND LILLITH. WALK TO JUNIPER. AND LEAVE QUICKLY.”

Lil looked over at him with a gentle smile on her face, “You know that won’t work on me Bri… I’ve got to save him.” She turned back towards Jasper, “Put down Logan and I’ll come with you. Hurt him again and I will kill you and everyone here with you.” The scales on her arms and legs started turned a dark bloody red. 

“Oh ho ho, you think you have the weight to push me around and give orders. Ha! You really are something Lillith.” Jasper responded shaking Logan in the air tauntingly.

“You’re here for me. Not him. If you want me to come along quietly then hand him over gently to my brothers. They are dearest to my heart and won’t put my life in danger purposefully.” She glanced over at me.

Jasper nodded and handed Logan over to Astrologh who quickly got him over to the others and started healing him up quickly. “Alright shall me get going?” Jasper asked holding his hand out towards Lil.

“No…” I whispered under my breath, as I started walking towards them.

“You’re pair is waiting for you.” Jasper said almost mockingly.

I was almost to her as she started putting her hand in his, I broke through their hands took her’s in mine and started running dragging her along. Running deep in the forest trying to find my way to the sanctuary to get some more help. I could here the shouts as her brothers ran after Jasper. 

“We have to turn back Juniper, my brothers!” I could hear the worry in her voice and she spoke to me. “Juniper!”

“Lil we don’t have time to stop for that, they can take care of themselves. They can take him. I promise.” 

“That’s not what I’m worried about.” She said.

I slowed to a stop and turned around to look at her, “What?”

She took a deep breath before answering me, “I know that they can take him probably pretty easily. And I know the only reason they didn’t kill him right away is cause they want information from him. I know they were holding back since I’m in heat and dispersing pheromones everywhere and clogging up their minds. So yes it’s a good thing that we left, we really should have left once Logan put the collar on me. But I just couldn’t do that.” Lil continued to ramble on without taking a breath.

“Lil.” I said grabbing ahold of her shoulder and shaking her a bit, “What are you so worried about if you know all of that?” I asked just about panicking at this point.

“Lib. Since he’s my biological brother my pheromones don’t force him to go into a rut, it just… it just sends him into over protective mode.” She signed.

“So… he’s over protective, that isn’t much different from how he usually is with you.” 

“Yes it is, when he is affected by my pheromones he experiences the same feeling as he would if another alpha touched his omega during their heat. He gets this killer instinct. Makes him see blood. He’ll kill anyone and everyone who touches me.”

“Fuck.” I stammered out as I looked back into the forest we just ran through. We can’t go back. But we just left Libryinth with all her other brothers and with Braden and Jasper, two people who did more then touch her. They tried to kill her. This is turning out worse then I had imagined when I decided to start running.

We stood their in silence for a few minutes just listening to the wind blow through the trees and the sounds of her brothers and Jasper fighting in the distance. After a while I heard some leaves rustling and footsteps coming towards us. I looked into the forest and saw a figure walking towards us quickly. I squint trying to see who it was they brought their hand up and waved at us. As I made out their shape I had slight relief.

“Logan!” Lil called out waving back as she started running towards him. 

As I was looked at Logan I saw Libryinth sprinting behind him, I grabbed Lil’s wrist and pulled her backwards as I ran towards Logan at full speed. I was almost at him when Lib was lunging to tackle him. I jumped over Logan and caught Lib mid-tackle. We rolled around wrestling with each other for a couple minutes before I was able to pin him down.

“Ryinth. What are you doing. Calm down already.” Logan said as he walked towards us.

“Wait! Let me approach him first. You know how he can be.” Lil said as she walked up to us. She bent down and placed her hand on his head. He nuzzled into her hand a little before he regained his senses. 

“Lil! Are you alright!” Lib said excitedly, “Juniper why are still you on me?”

“Oh sorry, didn’t think about it.” I stammered out as I got off of him and helped him get up to his feet. “So… What happened?"
