Logan walked us back to the sanctuary quietly, he told us Astrologh would explain the whole thing when we got back. When we finally got back Professor Jayen had everyone rest in a large back room, suggesting we eat something before we heard what was going on. Eventually Professor Jayen let Astrologh and the rest of Lil’s brothers into the room. They gathered around quietly, we all stood around in silence for a few minutes before Lib spoke up.

“So what is going on here? The last time I saw you guys most of you guys, you were going out on missions or staying back on the farm. And I haven’t heard anything from any of you about you guys being here at all. And you sent Leaf out like you guys were expecting something.” Lib sounded pretty agitated as he spoke.

“Lib don’t start with them, its all on me this time.” Lil answered, eagerly getting out the words.

“Sushhh Lillia no one is blaming you, we are all here for our own reasons. We are all here to protect you and its on our own accord.” Matt said reassuringly with a slight smile on his face.

“Thanks Matt-“ Lil started to say before Astrologh cut her off.

“I think we should go on and explain whats going on Lil.” Astrologh said as Lil nodded in response, “So, about two months ago Lillia sent me a text asking me to do a little research on a number that keep contacting her. After about a week I ran into a brick wall trying to track down the buyer, I then enlisted couple of the guys to help me figure it out. Next thing I knew almost all of us were trying to track this number down. Last month I got a call from Lillia saying someone was following her around. She had said that she had tried to figure out who it was that was following her, saying that she supposed it was someone from her pack. With that, I started looking into the backgrounds of everyone in her pack-“

“Wait! So you’re telling me you pretty much stalked us without our permission?” Winnie called out in an aggravated tone.

“Yeah, isn’t that kinda illegal? You can’t just look into people like that for your own convenience.” Bex added in.

“Calm down guys, Astro is a licensed tracker, that includes hacking and things like that. And it wasn’t for his own convenience, the case of someone stalking and harassing someone is included under his license. Nothing was illegal.” Lil responded quickly shutting them up.

Winnie looked about ready to blow before barking back, “But you’ve known me for years, you really think I would do anything against you like that? Huh?” 

“I know you’re taking offense with this, but no one was above it. I asked Astorlogh to dig into everyone, even Lib was dug around. No one was above this.” Lil said dropping her eyes away from everyone and looking at the floor.

“Why me Lillith? I’m your brother?” Lib asked looking pretty mad.

“I decided to Libryinth.” Astrologh stated, “I decided to look into everyone you had contact with just incase you let out any of her personal information on accident.” His stare was almost deadly, “So, as I was saying, I looked into everyone in the pack, almost everyone had a clean background. Only Braden and… Juniper had unclear backgrounds. I called Lillia to deliberate who I should put more effort into. After hearing everything about it, Lillia very quickly cleared up Juniper’s background so the only one left was…”

“Braden.” Bex said quietly, “So he…”

“Yeah, he was the only one in the pack that could of been harassing and stalking Lillia. As I dove into his background things got wilder and wilder. The was he meet Lillia was too coincidental. Then they were in the same pack as well which flew some red flags as well. Along with his foggy background, we suspected something bad was going down. After all of that Lillia thanked me and asked me to keep a low profile on it. Two weeks ago she called me again panicking. Lillia woke up in the middle of the night by a bird calling out to her, she followed him outside and down to the old library where the old crow is said to be. She entered and spoke with him. Making dates to meet during the next week to help her uncover her transform. As she got closer to the dorms she heard something behind her rustling, she called out hoping to get a response. All she heard back was a hiss, with that she started running all the way back to her room where she called me. My investigation was back on, so in this case I called everyone to help. A couple more incidents happened throughout the following week. I got a call Sunday night from Lillia, during that call we decided she should stay at the old crows for the following week, I had Brighten talk to her teachers about taking the final exams that night. Brighten accompanied her to the testing sights then directly to the old crows, the investigation went on high alert soon after that. Brighten was in charge of making sure Lillia stayed out of sight. As well as apparently running errands for her.” He paused for a moment looking over at Lil silently, “I figured if anything was going to happen then it was going to happen here. It has the most cover, and if anyone died it would be given to the fact that many wild beasts live in these woods. The plan would have been fabricated well, if not for he fact that almost all of us are in law enforcement or are bounty hunters. I called everyone and asked then to meet me here. I then called Professor Jayen and talked to him about what was going on. He gave us permission to come and set a trap for whoever was trying to get Lillia.”

“So you guys just came here and set up some trap for us without even telling me? I could of helped! I could of stopped this before anyone got hurt! I could have stopped him sooner!” Lib screamed “Why didn’t you come to me! It’s my job! I’m the only one here who has that job! I am her only brother! How dare you not tell me!” Lib was charging Lil’s other brothers as he screamed at them.

“How dare you! Everyone here is Lil’s brother! Not only you! You are just one of us! We are all here to protect her! We all will always protect her!” Screamed Oliver back at him charging.

“No! None of you are her brothers! Not by blood! I am the only one! I am the only one whom she can relay on! Not you! You can’t help her! Only me! I’m the only one here who can protect her all the time! Don’t act like any of you can call her your sister for real!

“LIBRYINTH!” Brighten called out with his alpha voice, shuttering us all, “YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO SAY THAT! THAT IS LOW EVEN FOR YOU! SHE IS OUR SISTER! OUR BABY SISTER! YOU ARE OUR BABY BROTHER! YOU DON’T GET TO SAY ANYTHING LIKE THAT TO US!

“Hey guys-“ Lil said before being cut off.

“NO, SHE IS MY SISTER NOT YOURS!” Lib called back out in his alpha voice.

“HEY!” Lil yelled catching everyones attention, “Stop this stupid argument. Every one of you are my brothers. So, please, stop it. I’m quite done hearing this shit about who’s biological and who is not biological.” She sighed rubbing her temples.

Everyone was staring at Lil almost shocked, no one really seamed to understand, I didn’t really either. Everything I’ve heard about them seamed as if they were all just siblings.

“So, wait… Lib is the only person in your family related to Lillith, are you all adopted or something?” Winnie asked.

“Well… kinda… ya see, Astrologh, Atticus, Drayton, Elias, an me are all blood siblings to each other and our parents. Bu’ Cadogan, Caspian, an Atlas are triplets, Danial an Samual are twins, an o’ course Libryinth an Lillia are twins. Then ya got Ollie an Brighten are also blood brothers. But everyone adopted got adopted really young. Most of ‘em didn’ know they was adopted till they got older and asked ‘bout it.” Logan explained, “We were all raised as family, so we are. But Libryinth and Lillia, altho they were with us sine they was five, they weren’t completely adopted until they were eight and Libryinth seams to still be holding it against us.”

All the guys seamed really down as Logan spoke as if this had been affecting the family for a long time. That this wasn’t the first time Lib had brought it up. Winnie looked as if she had regretted asking something so personal, especially since Lil also talked as if they were all her brothers no matter what. It was defiantly quite a shock hearing it laid out like that.

After a few moments of silence Lil spoke up, “Now that we have finished digging up the past and Lib’s childishness. Can some one tell me what happened after Jun ran off into the woods with me. I’d like to know what happened with Jasper, Braden, and their lackeys.”

“Right, after you left, our heads cleared up pretty quickly. We were able to finally take Jasper down. We got him in the transform blocking cuffs and just to make sure… we wrapped him up in a rope and carried him back here.” Matt explained quickly still looking upset about Lib.

“Good. That’s good. So when can I see him?” Lil asked

“Huh?” The whole crowd said as we stared blankly at Lil

“Well I wanna figure out who sent them to kidnap me and everything. I mean Jasper said he was sent to deliver me to ‘my destined pair’. I mean I don’t quite understand it much, and I don’t know how someone found out so much about me. Especially the stuff that only a few people knew about. It’s quite intriguing and I’d like to know how and why.” Lil explained standing up and walking around the room, “I mean who wouldn’t wonder at least a little bit.” She picked up an apple and took a bite put of it putting a hand on her hip, smiling softly.

“Really Lillian? You really think we are gonna let you see him?” Asked Oliver, Lil nodded in response, leaving Oliver in silence.

“No. Not gonna happen. Not today at least.” Matt said in response, “You aren’t getting near him for at least a little bit. You’re in the middle of your heat, who knows what’s gonna happen if we let you two see each other. He’s already induced your heat before. We can’t give him any chances to do anything.” Astrologh stated blatantly.

Lil’s face turned into a slight frown, at his words, “I just want to talk to him. I need to figure this out. For my own safety and security. Don’t you get that Astro?” She looked to Astrologh, his face still stern, “Ollie?” Oliver diverted his eyes from her, “Really any of you?”

“Lil not this time,” Lib responded, “It’s not safe enough. We don’t know what he’s got under his sleeve, leave this up to the guys. It’s the best option.” 

Everyone stood in silence looking at Lil, who currently was stuffing her face. Lil huffed and looked down as she ate.
