The cool rush of the waves
Touching my skin
Reminds me of how it pained
To see you that thin

The memories we shared
They now cause me to frown
I'm afraid how I've fared
Has been poor as I glance down

The transparent ocean
Reminds me of your deep blues
I'll never see them again
What to do now, I cannot choose

The soft sand on my face
Is similar to how your hands felt
All I feel now is out of place
As my eyes begin to melt

The wind that breezes past
Reminds me that I'm alone
You've gone far too fast
And now, I'm all on my own.
