The Colonial History of Tir-Torzor and Brief Accounts of Its Diasporas’ Denizens

Secretary of Defense

Secretary of Defense

Mar 09, 2022

   Meanwhile on Tir-Torzor, much of the Human civilization was in a state of fascination, apprehensiveness and panic since the wormhole first opened twenty-eight [Tir-Torzor] days ago. Old files recovered from a well-preserved Pre-Contact Era computer, had images of an electronic daily events bulletin reconstructed, which featured information out of that time:

   From the time of its beginning, Human civilization was composed of many different societies that separated themselves into territories governed by their society’s leaders. There were many of these throughout their planet’s history, appearing, growing, shrinking, and disappearing at differing frequencies of speed.

   One of the most powerful territorial societies in existence around this time was the United States of America. (aka USA / US / America) Over many years, it had garnered great influence, fear, respect, and hatred, through expansion, trade, propaganda, and war. However, a series of volitional catastrophes severely weakened them. Fearing rivals would overtake their domineering position, its governing body sought ways to tighten their grip where every opportunity arose.

   Recovered from the Washington National Records Center Archeological Site on Tir-Torzor, a high-ranking USA official called Secretary of Defense Edward Philips sent this digital letter to his people’s governing chief a few days after the wormhole’s appearance:

An alien scholar is sent by their institution to study, evaluate, and report on the colonial history of another galactic civilization known as the Apiary. There are only two planets under the Apiary's dominion: The empire's home world, Eas-Enerang, and Tir-Torzor, its sole colonized claim. This is the compiled historical records on the effects conquest has had over its native inhabitants.

{Content Warning: This story is a work of satire that uses some of the worst bits of human history, as its basis for creating certain characters and events. It involves instances of foul language, xenophobia, violence, recalling assault, and allusions to historical atrocities and tragedies. Discretion is advised.}
