Tom is hoping for a fresh start when he applies to a prestigious art school after coming out as trans. There he finds himself sympathetic to the toils of Maroon Antony, a troublemaker who just so happens to be the daughter of international art thieves. When Maroon is barred from joining the school’s anime club she decides to run her own out of her garage with Tom as her right-hand man. Together they discover clues that bring them closer to locating the masterpieces her parents stole, as well as uncovering the dark secrets of their beloved island home.
