notes on the (questionable) architecture: as you might have noticed in previous pages, there's a lot of ... round buildings. they're meant to be an imagined 'evolved' form of celtic roundhouses, where the walls are elevated to form towers, but the traditional cauldron still hangs from the roof, which has a chimney hole in. (closeable in this day and age)
there's a lotta 'what ifs' in this comic and the whole thing is a quasi-alternate universe kinda hinging on the idea that British history went slightly ... different. a lot of things will get explained gradually through the comic, as the biggest infodump i'm EVER gonna do was Old Man Pascoe's story in the prologue
