We've all heard of the person that has fallen head-over-heels for a fictional cartoon character. But what happens when the cartoon falls head-over-heels for their creator, unbeknownst to him? The lead artist and director Barry Goldberg finds himself in a pickle when his prized cartoon show is down on its luck and is on the verge of cancellation, his marriage is on the rocks, he might never see his kids again, AND his very own creation decides to give him a first-hand experience of what its like to be more than just an idea or a simple brush stroke. Now he must face a new set of challenges; trying to find his way back home all the while helping Baabaa and her friends with their own problems.
