This is a comic I can relate to. Typically I run my mouth constantly saying pretty much anything that comes to mind. Most of it are failed attempts to entertain my wife (and the kids). More often than not though I find myself stepping over the line and being outright (and not entirely accidentally) offensive. So it’s nice when something I say, from my soul, makes it’s way out without being tainted on the way and is delivered in a better way than I intended or would ever be capable of doing consciously. A happy mistake… but one that came from a very real place.
I’ve found that my sensitivity is appreciated way more than my attempts at humor (though she likes it more than she lets on).
