Footsteps echoed in a dark passage. They halted as they reached a dimly lit chamber. The curvy silhouette of a woman appeared at its entrance.
“Master,” said the woman.
A strong silhouette stood in the chamber. The dim lights reflected around its contours.
“What is it Estella?” asked a deep voice.
Estella walked sinuously in the room, her high-heeled boots clacking on the stone floor. Her face was gradually revealed. She had sensual features. Her blonde hair strode down to her hips. She crossed her arms and looked at the floor.
“Orion has not returned from his mission,” she said with a hint of sadness.
Silence filled the room. The shadowed man did not respond, his back still turned towards Estella.
“I will go to Velli to find out what happened to him,” said Estella.
Still more silence.
“No one will come to fetch you if you get caught,” replied the master.
Estella placed a hand on her hip.
“I won’t,” she replied with certainty.
Estella’s lips curled upwards, her black lips looked glossy in the pale light. She turned away and walked down the unlit passage once again. The echoes of her footsteps faded. The master was not pleased, but he would not stop her.
