Alira has been a performer in Grimm's Troupe for years now, and she's had a habit of exploring outside of the tent when new lands are visited. In her years of travel, she'd never come across a place quite like Hallownest, however.
A new land brings about old dreams of hers, ones that oddly makes the world familiar and bleak.
On one of her explorations, she comes to meet a strange and mischievous Weaver Spider named Zaat.
Maybe he knows more about this strange land and these dreams...?
