hey, Gersham, deal with the lords of France, they are still waiting on you, go on go!

GERSHAM

oh sorry, right away, come on Elihu

NARRATOR

as of the two of them leave down the hall, up the stairs, and into the french court

Zam

But why me alone my King?

King Moss

you know the reason Zam, let's talk about our darker purpose. give me that map over there, you already know that my 3 daughters should... well you know.I want to step down as King, before my death, and to avoid later issues I have gathered you all here. For we are never really alone for the god watches over us all

let me finish ladies and gentlemen boys and girls of all ages  in France, you know those french boys “ kiss kiss!”

tell me, my daughters? Let's turn this into a game of sorts. Whoever says to praise the good book may have the largest part of the Kingdom, why don't we start my oldest daughter Gabriela? Hands-on buzzers let’s go! 

Gabriela

um,... um well sir,  the good book is more than words can measure, dearer than liberty, space, the universe, and even my eyesight. it's a child's love of the Torah found over and over

King Moss

I know, I know, ever since your mother died, our dear queen Esther, I have acted strangely as of late, my grief, which was way too late, to be honest.. the dead and my dearest queen Esther. a father must never tell his son what to do but daughters I am not so sure! honestly, what better way to show your love to your Torah so your cut of the Kingdom is more fair and just!

CARMIT

For the last time, girls, girls for the last time please calm down, Ii already asked for the hand in marriage from two french princes and...

milk in deed, (milk mustache on his beard ) if you are  seen by your peers then understand your social duty to this Kingdom. But none of them seem good enough for you. Yet, if my policies will  confuse you!  And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light!,as I will  match her to some prince within this island or the next,, And doing so will  establish such a perfect peace in this Kingdom!

Scene  3 

end of scene one, beginning of scene 2

NARRATOR

earlier that day sitting outside the two evil sisters gabriela and riva  are sitting out in the hot sun bathing out in hidden villa 

Gabriela

( fanning a fan, think valley girl but shakespeare ) 

look around you, Riva, how can you bother to see that young proud girl ,puffing her chest those bountiful bosoms. Since she is so  innocent that carmit. She doesn't even see us as her older sisters.

RIVA

That carmit , As if she  is any better than us r   As if we can’t have the newest fashion custom made? we can do whatever, wherever, whenever

GABRIELA

whenever or whatever, But if she doesn't follow the rules, I think  our father should be amazed at what we do!

RIVA

( snarkey)

as father says “ they don't first repent their sins, When heavenly powers do frustrate their intent.”,she would break us both with her math prowess . Sigh 

Gabriela 

Besides, she is so nice and so demure; So sober, courteous, modest, and precise, ...  That all the Court has work enough to do, To talk how she doth exceed me and you.

Riva

What would I do if it were in my authority  or in my domination?  

Of that carmit to do what i wish and desire? Firstly I would Find a cure for this little girl with a plethora of destruction, and make her wish she was never born.

Gabriela 

So desperate medicine must be applied, To dim the glory of her mounting flames

Riva

[Enter Skalliger.]

Gabriela

oh my goodness, squeeeeeeee!

Riva( at the same time)

SKALLIGER:

You, Madam, to the King of Moss’s Grace: Your younger sister he would fain bestow Upon the rich King of Champagne:

Riva

The King of Champagne? Doth the man sparkle? 

SKALLIGER:

But he doubts that, she hardly will consent.

Gabriela

She speaks for herself!

SKALLIGER:

For  as yet she couldn't fancy him. If she does stop

why then, between you three, He will divide his Kingdom for your dowries. But yet there is a further mystery,  I will tell you.

Gabriela

come on now, spit it out, spit it out  we aren't waiting all day

SKALLIGER:

He just wants to know,the lord, the earth gave forth vegetation, seed yielding herbs , And on your loves he so extremely dotes, As never any did, I think, before. He presently does mean to send for you, To be resolved of this tormenting doubt: And look, whose answer pleaseth him the best, They shall have most unto their marriages.

Riva

You speak with such a strange tongue my knight, but know this:, I have a very  - some would say “pleasing Mermaid's voice”, to enchant his - I mean my husband’s senseless senses! Oh our King of Champagne shall not know what hit him.

Gabriela

I do agree dear sister!

SKALLIGER:

should the mighty King ask for the strangest of things. Why don't you Promise to do whatever he the King Desires? Then will he straight enjoin her for his sake, The Champagne  King in marriage for you  to take. This is the sum of all I have to say; Which being done, I humbly take my leave, Not doubting but your wisdom will happen, What is your plan of action?

Gabriela

we won't tell you my knight but we will take what you have said and think it over

Riva
