When I got back to the alley I saw that Ekon was sleeping. I worked so hard to get all this food for us and all he does is sleep? Ugh I sound like a father who just got off work. I walked over to Ekon and took out a sandwich and set it next to him and pulled the blanket over him so as to make sure he doesn't get sick. I sat next to him and started to eat.

“Oh yeah I was supposed to call Rose.” I took my phone out of my pocket and dialed roses number, but it seems that she isn’t picking up. As I hear the phone ring I also hear a ringing sound from around the corner. I got up and looked to see what it was.

I look around and see a rose standing at the entrance of the alley.

“So you only start to call me now? After I came all the way here you turn out to call me anyways.”  She was glaring at me hard, she's obviously mad at me since I broke our promise. “I’m so sorry, I totally forgot, i was caught by the manager and he let me off with a warning.” I rubbed the back of my head as I walked over to her to hand her one bag of sandwiches.

“Ugh, do you know how worried I was? I thought you might have been sent to jail for trying to steal. OR WORSE!” she snached the bag out of my hand as she continued to glare at me.

“Look, i’m sorry alright? I won’t do it again.” I sighed and apologized. As me and Rose were talking to each other, someone creeped up behind me and grabbed my shoulder.

“AH!” I screamed and pushed the person off me. I opened my eyes and saw the person I pushed off me was just Ekon.

“Uh, sorry?” Ekon just stood there wide eyed since I suddenly pushed him.

“Oh, It’s just you, sorry ‘bout that.” I walked up to him and patted him on his chest in an apology. 

“Okay, it looks like you guys are doing fine so i’ll leave, stay safe.” Rose finally stopped laughing, waved us goodbye and walked out of the alley.

I waved her goodbye back while Ekon did the same.

“She worries too much, it's over bearing” I complained to ekon.

“Yeah she can be a bit much sometimes, but the same can go for you as well.” Ekon walked off leaving me glaring at him.

“What?! How am I a bit much?!” I started to walk with him wanting an answer.

See right now, you’re being a bit much.” Ekon is calm, quiet, and doesn't show much emotion,  but sometimes you can tell that he’s making fun of you.

We continued to bicker with each other as we walked over to our sleeping bags that were under a tent-like structure.

“Huh it looks like it's going to rain soon” I looked up at the dark gray clouds that were looming over our heads.

“Yeah, we should get all the stuff in the tent and put up the water proof cover.” Ekon started to pick up the bags and moved them to the tent. I started to do the same thing that he was doing.

*Hours into the evening*

Me and Ekon are sitting in the tent since our prediction was correct, it started to rain.  The sound of the rain pattering on the tent and the ground is so soothing that it’s making me sleepy. I was getting my sleeping bag ready to sleep while ekon was in his sleeping bag reading a book. Since it's the evening time of course it’s dark so he has a battery powered lamp on making it hard for me to try and sleep.

“Yo, Ekon can you turn that off. I’m about to get some shut eye.” I asked him to be mindful of me going to sleep and surprisingly he complied with it. He nodded his head and tired the lamp and continued to read in the dark. 

“Dude how are you reading in the dark? Are you some type of superhuman or something.” I joked around with him, but it seemed to be a bit serious.

He wasn’t responding to me and kept looking at his book with a certain look on his face. It made me feel a bit awkward so I just turned around and started to go to sleep. Ekon’s been doing that lately. He seems to be always thinking about something, and he doesn't pay attention when I’m calling him. It’s like something is bothering him.

“Ugh, whatever.” I mumbled as I started to drift off to sleep.

“Uneme” I heard someone say my name. I got up to check but no one was there, not even Ekon. “Huh, wha- what’s going on?”  There was nothing but emptiness.

“Uneme” 

“What, who keeps calling my name?”I looked around and when I turned my back I saw someone.

It was too dark to see her face, but she had short golden hair and fluffy, golden,  wings were sprouting from her back. “

Grow up, and help sa.. the two clans” I couldn’t hear her properly. She was getting cut off by the sound in the forest behind her. “What? What did you say?” 

Someone came up behind her and grabbed her shoulder. I couldn’t see his face very well either but he had red hair, he also had wings sprouting from his back, but they were a dark red color.

“We have to go.” he most likely gave some bad news since the  woman began to cry. She began to talk to me again but this time i could hear her perfectly.

“Please stay safe, and stop the WAR” she then kissed me on my forehead and ran off with the person she was with. “Wait! What do you mean stop the war? Wait, don't go!” I tried to call out for her but she couldn’t hear. These words cut deep into my mind. War? What war? And how was I going to stop it? Why me? These questions didn’t get answered since she was soon out of my sight.

Everything went white and then, I woke up. I was sweating, my heart was pounding , and I was out of breath. “What was that dream? It felt..real. Too real for it to not be real. And who was that man and woman?” as i tried to calm myself down I looked round and it was still raining. I looked to my side and there was Ekon peacefully sleeping. I looked at my phone and saw that it was 3 am.

“Ugh did I have to get up so early?” Knowing I wouldn't be able to go back to sleep I grabbed a raincoat to cover my  head with and walked out the tent. I turned the corner only to see a human-like figure at the end of the alley. I assumed it was Rose so I decided to start a conversation “Hey Rose, why the heck are you out in this weather? I mean yeah I shouldn’t be out here either but why’re you out of your house? I thought you would be sleeping by now.”  She didn’t respond and as I got closer to her I noticed that there was another tall human figure right behind her.

I soon realized that it wasn't Rose who was at the end of the alley. They started to walk closer to me and as a normal reaction I backed up. They stopped as soon as they were 5 ft away from me. The smaller figure that I mistook for rose took off their hoodie and revealed his Light brown hair, and Bright, memorizing,  blue eyes. 

“Huh?  What do you want?! Who are you?!” The short male just stared at me, wait let me to correct myself,  glared at me while standing in the rain. “You need to come with me.” Is the response I got. Who does this guy think he is?
