I didn't want to split this conversation into 2 updates so here's an extra long episode^^ next ep (march 21st!) will be back to 20 ish panels again! also sorry for my wildly inconsistent art...I keep wanting to experiment and try new things...
For anyone in college, you might understand Greyson's decision to pursue something more traditional. I had a similar experience in college and wanted to highlight that facing reality is not necessarily giving up on your dreams. Things like rent, loans, other financial circumstances on top of mental and physical health can affect your decision in your career. But it's not something to be ashamed of and doesn't mean you can't come back to it either. I think it's great to chase your dreams but sometimes people can forget reality as well. I wanted Cal and Greyson to have this conversation and understand each other because giving up a sport/creative job can seem "lame" or "boring" to pursue something like a desk job. But in the end, if you are happy with your decision, then it doesn't matter what other people say around you.😊
I can understand how Greyson feels, it is frustrating that most try to crush what you dream of or want to do with your life but people like Cal many times or all times give you courage to follow the life you dream of.
Maybe I sound something exaggerated but thanks author, the chapter was beautiful.
[ON HIATUS] Cal does a lot of dumb things, but the dumbest one of all? Falling for perfect and popular Greyson Adams. Everybody loves him and wants to date him or be his friend. He's kind to everyone so how will an ordinary guy like Cal even stand a chance? LGBTQ+, Coming of Age.
