Chapter 11: Run

I lost my job last month in February 2022 due to the business not being able to afford having me around anymore, and that saddened me. I'm still feeling a bit depressed about it, but on the upside, I was able to have more time to work on this series. I haven't done a colored chapter page in a while, so I thought I'd go ahead and do one here. For the cover, I used images of Michael Jackson as a base of reference for Albus's pose. Where could he be pointing towards, I wonder? Speaking of Albus, how will he and Keyanos interact now that they've formally introduced each other?
I must say, working on this chapter made it much more apparent to me in regards to how challenging it is to depict aura in a black-and-white medium, especially when it interacts with mostly inked-in subjects. I'll have to learn how to better work the aura in this type of medium, but at the very least I do hope my current skills were enough to accurately convey my intentions.
Aside from art, I've been enjoying the game Pokemon Legends Arceus and bits of Elden Ring. I'm excited for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet near the end of the year, and I am also excited for the open world Kirby game coming soon.
