Justin carried Erica to School Infirmary after she faked faint. A lot of people followed them there. Erica can hear someone said maybe she ate too much pizza or maybe the air con's temperature is too low. 

         The GP said something to the nurse. Then asked everyone else but not Justin to leave to give the patient some space. Before Erica can react, the nurse has set up the IV.  When the needle entered into her skin, Eric almost jumped up. 
          Fortunately, the nurse didn't notice that. She adjusted the IV, before she left, she told Justin, " It will take around one hour. If there's anything else later, let me know."  Justin replied. " Sure, thanks."
　　
          After a while, Erica heard that the door opened again. 

         " How is she?" Erica didn't recognize the girl's voice.
　     " Not sure how good she can draw, but she is a really interesting lady." Justin replied.
　      Erica ???

          The unknown girl approaches them, then Erica heard the curtain blinds was splashed opened.  After a while, she heard the girl commenting, " Just so so, barely a 6."
　
　　Erica .......

　　The girl standing beside the bed, then complained to Justin. " I don't know what Professor Glenn's thinking. Her major is Network security. How can she be any good at drawing? We can't let someone amateur to join Wildness. I am much better than her."

          Erica squinted, she saw the girl beside her bed. It's the bug lady at the ball. The one who was standing beside the student president. 
　　They didn't notice Erica is eavesdropping.
　　"Why we have to follow Professor Glenn's advice? He is not your real father anyway." The bug lady continued complaining.

          Justin smiled, " Can we talk about this tomorrow? I am a bit tired."
　　The bug lady rolled her eyes "You are being too nice to everyone. You should say no to those ladies this afternoon. They just want to hook up with you. I am telling you those girls are after you! Including this one here."

            Justin didn't say anything. Before the bug lady go, she fetched something in her bag and handed over to Justin. " Here you go. Halloween Gift! This is the first time I learned weaving. It's a scarf. If you don't like it, you can throw it away!"

         The bug lady then left like there's a monster behind her, maybe she is afraid to hear what Justin will say.

         The door clicked closed. Erica thought, " She must really care about Justin. And worried Justin gonna say no. But Justin is really nice guy, he will definitely treasure the gift."

        Then Erica heard a 'thud', Justin threw the gift box into the rubbish bin.

         There's no expression on Justin's face. No annoying feeling nor impatience. Just nothing. 
         Erica closed her eyes immediately when she realised that Justin is approaching her bed. He grabbed a blanket and put it on Erica gently.
          Erica heard Justin sitting beside the bed, then there's a click sound. After a while, she smiled cigarettes. So Justin is smoking inside the patient room?! Erica there's a big ' No Smoking' sign at the entrance. Erica realised she didn't really know this nice guy.
　　 Erica is really sensitive to the smoke, she will cough to the smell. But she supposed to be in a faint, so she cannot cough. She begins to regret the faint drama now.  

           Erica haven't hear anything for like 5 minutes, she opened her eyes with a small gap. Then she realised Justin had fell asleep.  He leaned to the bedside table with closed eyes, a lit cigarette in his left hand loosely. Erica thought he must have a long day today.

            Erica is hesitating whether she should woke him up, as it seems the cigarette will drop to the ground the next minutes. Or should she just grab the butt and put it off for him.

         Before Erica can do anything, she heard foot steps approaching again.

　　Erica closed her eyes right away pretending sleeping. This time it's professor Glenn. 

          Erica waited and waited. After 5 minutes nothing happened. He didn't wake up Justin nor Erica. He just standing there without any sound. Erica felt a thrill.
　　
　　Erica felt she can't do this anymore, she opened her eyes slowly, pretending just wake up. But it seems no one noticed her awakening.
          Professor Glenn standing beside the bed, staring at Justin with full attention.  Erica felt something is off. He is too close to Justin, his face almost touching Justin's face.  The rotten smell is getting unbearable, the smell from Professor Glenn's  mask. It is too strong to cover the smoke.
　     Then Erica saw Professor Glenn moved his head a bit and getting even closer to Justin. Like he is trying to kiss Justin, mouth to mouth!!

         Erica felt like she was stricken by thunder.

         'So this is Professor Glenn's secret? He likes his step son? What about Justin? What's his secret? Should I stop this? Or should I wait to see? Does Justin know this?’
　　
　　Before Erica know what to do, someone opened the infirmary door again. It's Ellie this time, she runs over to bed with her attention on Erica, who pretend to be still sleeping.

           Professor Glenn didn't panic, he slowly moved away from Justin. " There's something on his face." Then he patted on Justin's shoulder to wake him up.

       Justin finally woke up, he looked confused for a moment. "Dad?" The cigarette finally dropped on the floor. Justin said sorry, then picked the butt up and throw it in the rubbish bin.

　　They all act so naturally, Ellie didn't get any suspicion. Even Erica thought maybe she thought too much.
　   Ellie grabbed Erica's hand shaking, " wake up, Erica."
　　Erica pretend to just wake up.

          "Don't move her hand, there's needle." Justin remind Ellie.
　　Erica slowly opened her eyes and smiled to Ellie. " Don't worry, I am fine."
　　Ellie cried, " Sorry, I should not left you there alone."
　　Erica comforted Ellie, then she got attracted by the changes on Professor Glenn's mask. Erica is pretty sure there's more black thin lines on it. And those black lines are wiggling, it looks like something will come out from it.
　     The nurse finally came back, and removed the needle. 

           Justin offered to give two girls a ride. Professor Glenn also asked to send them back home.
           Erica refused. Ellie insisted to sleep over at Erica's to give her accompany. 

           Then they split up.  Erica turned around to see the father and son one last time. Professor Glenn put his hand on Justin's shoulder. It seems he told Justin a joke, then Justin laughed. 

       Erica thought, 'Maybe I got it wrong? But what about the ugly mask?'
