There is actually a massive difference in controlled experiences, like in Achilles case a black eye, and the pain of an infection. One you can avoid and be ready to treat at convenience, the other can do all kind of nasty things, that you won't be able to mitigate or even stop. Not sure how good the health care is in Halo head.
