Cole’s pov

A few months later, I woke up beside Tegan who was still fast asleep. I’ll have to wake her. I don’t like waking her early everyday with that annoying noise in my throat but I can’t sleep for long because I am too excited to spend time with her. I don’t want to be awake without Tegan being awake too because it feels weird. Tegan and I haven’t spent much time together these past few months because Tegan is always at the hospital because of Liam. I’ll admit it, I am jealous that she is spending more time with Liam than me. Liam is now awake but he can’t go home yet. I crawled up onto Tegan’s stomach and lay there.

After a few seconds of hearing the annoying noise from me, Tegan opened her eyes.

It’s good I have my real thoughts back. The day after signing the marriage contract to Tegan, I woke up with my mind blank. I only thought something when I was hungry. Maybe now that I know what is going on again, it’s only a matter of time before I am in my normal form of a Demon adult male.

“Cole,” Tegan groaned and sat up quickly causing me to slip off her stomach and onto the bed again as the annoying throat noise stopped.

“Tegan,” I said in a panicky voice. I sound like a child. Oh wait....... I am a child for the moment. Tegan pulled me onto her lap and I gave a sigh of relief as I rested my head on Tegan’s chest. I can’t wait to be a man again so I can be a proper husband to Tegan, me being in this small form isn’t benefiting Tegan in any way. I guess it is practice for when we have our own child some day.

“I can’t wait for you to be a man so I don’t have to look after you anymore. I will still look after you but only as a wife should not the way I am now,” Tegan told me before she got off the bed and placed me on the floor where I stood. Tegan walked towards the bathroom and I followed her. I can walk in this small form now as I had a lot of practice with Diago’s help while Tegan is at the hospital. I hate that I can’t go with her, I always miss her terribly when she isn’t with me.

“Do you want a bath?” Tegan asked me. I nodded my head. I can’t really remember Bath times with Tegan but it can’t be too bad as I’ll be with my mate.

“Ok let me just wash my face first,” Tegan washed her face and that while I just stood beside her with my hand holding her leg.

When Tegan was done, she filled the small bath tub with lukewarm water then got me out of my clothes before placing me in the water carefully.

After my bath, Tegan dried me with a towel then dressed me in some jeans and a top with some shoes. Just as I had thought, the bath wasn’t a bad experience. I was with my mate the whole time and she was gentle.

“I’m really sorry Cole but I’m going to the hospital later,” Tegan apologised leaving me to feel disappointed because I wouldn’t be seeing much of her today. I’ll just see her for a while before bed and that will be it, until tomorrow.

1 hour later, Diago arrived to babysit me. The irritating noise returned like it always did to prevent Tegan from leaving but she never stayed.

“I’ll be back soon, I won’t be long because the Doctor said Liam can come home on the weekend,” Tegan told me and kissed my cheek gently but that didn’t reassure me, I know she’ll be back late. The frustrating noise level increased.

“Oh Cole,” Tegan picked me up into her arms from where I was standing beside her leg. For a second there, I thought she wasn’t going to go but she did, she made her way towards the front door after giving me another kiss to the cheek. She knows the way to the hospital now and usually takes my car to get there.

Tegan walked out of the house but she forgot to close the front door. I ran as fast as I could towards it to follow Tegan but my little legs weren’t quick enough and Diago closed the door before I could even get there.

“Come on Cole. You know you can’t go with Tegan, come here,” Diago tried to pick me up but I squirmed away from him.

“Cole don’t be like that, you know why you can’t go with Tegan,”

“It’s not my fault,” Diago added and tried to sit me on his lap. This is so awkward. Diago is my best friend and now he is babysitting me.

That’s when I lost it, I went into a complete rage and being in a small form was not helping. I wanted Tegan with me right then.

Suddenly, the room starting getting smaller and my clothes were ripped off me, I was turning back to an adult. Finally.

I stood up knowing I was back to my adult self a few minutes later but it didn’t help my rage and the next thing I knew, my hands were around Diago’s neck to strangle him. I never thought I’d let go but somehow I managed to loosen my hold but my hands were still on his neck.

“Cole what are you doing I’m your best friend?” Diago asked in a hurt voice.

“Don’t do this Cole,” Diago warned when my hands remained in position.

“I’m sorry. I don’t know what came over me,” I apologised as I removed my hands from around my friend’s neck a few long seconds later.

“Did you just apologise to me? You never apologise,” Diago asked with a gasp of surprise.

“Don’t get used to it,”

“Can you cover yourself?” Diago asked. What is he on about? I was confused but then I looked at myself and realised I was completely naked.

“Here,” Diago threw me a pair of my boxers that seemed to miraculously be laying around on the couch, I slipped them on gratefully.

“It’s good to have you back,” Diago told me when my manhood was covered.

“It’s good to be back,” I smiled. Finally, it wasn’t a picnic in the park being in such a small form but at least I got to spend time with Tegan even though I was out of it most of the time.

“You should go,” I said after a minute.

“Will you be ok meeting Tegan on your own? What if you hurt her?” Diago asked in a concerned voice. “You’re pretty angry right now,”

“I’ll be calm before she returns,” I insisted confidently.

“Are you sure?”

“Yes, now go,” I said firmly.

“Ok ok, I’m going but if you need anything call me,”

“I will,” I said before Diago disappeared.

A second later, I was in the bathroom. I slipped off my boxers and stepped into the shower. The shower calmed my anger down and by the time I got out, I wasn’t angry anymore. I got dressed into a black top and dark blue trousers with black shoes. Then I sat on the living room sofa and waited for my beautiful wife to return home to me.
